The room and the building were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The only issue was I am 76 and my sister 75 so having to carry our luggage and computers up a flight of stairs to the second floor was inconvenient.

Clean but dilapidated

The front desk receptionist was very sweet and the room was nice and clean, but everything was in such poor condition. Shower was broken (handheld nozzle had a broken clamp), sink had no plug, carpet was very stained and felt gummy, mattress was very worn with a big dip in the middle, pillows were unbelievably thin and flat. We appreciated that we were allowed an early check-in, but for the price we were surprised at the overall condition of the room.

We have had a few stays at this hotel and while older and less fancy than others, it was cleaner and quieter than we feared usually. This trip, however, the smell of smoke in the halls and room were enough to make us consider leaving and paying for a second hotel. While they insist no smoking is allowed, the odor in the hall is very high and the smell in the room is still too much to stand. Time to re-carpet and re-paint and defumigate if you want our business.

Dated furnishings, fair for the money! Good coffee! Beside ABC STORE, Mexican restaurant in the front, Bar-B-Que restaurant in the back, and a block from a beautiful walking park with plenty of paved trails. Plenty of restaurants within a ten minute drive!

In the past this has been my go-to property for the cost and convenience. Not fancy but clean and convenient. This time however the property seems to have been neglected. The room I had was musty. You could see mildew stains around the door casing of the bathroom. The carpet was dirty and the side chair had rips in the set pillow. Typically, the beds are comfortable, but the bed was not comfortable. If I had needed to stay more than a couple of nights I would have changed lodging. Mentioned the mildew issue as I checked out . Hopefully they will get that taken care of.

Very clean, economical and comfortable. Tucked away, but close to everything triangle has to offer. Would stay here repeatedly. Place could use some paint touch ups and replacement of lamps and toilet paper holders. Very happy with our stay.

No Elevator

The staff was nice but we did not know the hotel did not have an elevator. My sister, who came with me has knee issues. We were roomed on the second floor. She had a hard time carrying her bags up and down the stairs. The carpet needs to be replaced with up to date flooring. Overall the room was okay.
