"This property is fantastic and we could not have hoped for better hosts. Derek and Lauren are kind, gracious, and very responsive! There was more than enough room for our group and could have easily accomodated 4 times the size of our group comfortably. The pool and hot tub were great for a nice, relaxing stay. Situated in a quiet cul du sac, close to a quaint little country store which more than met our needs, and still provided the quiet seclusion we were hoping for a quiet, relaxing weekend. But if a larger grocery store is what you want, there is one located 20 - 30 minutes away. If you are looking for property that will offer relaxation, close to amenities, out of the way just enough, and hosts that will go out of their way to meet all of your needs, then check out 33 Lazy Day in Concan. "We had a fabulous time during our stay. The house is fabulous with everything you need (some other options I looked at before booking here, we all would have had to bring our own linens and towels which is a huge inconvenience). The outdoor space was the best part. The pool/hot tub with the outdoor kitchen and bbq pit was perfect. If I had any questions about anything the host responded immediately. The house is a short 5 min drive to public access of the river and the Frio was absolutely beautiful while we were there. The arcade room was great to keep our 9 year old entertained. We will definitely be back in the future. "

"My husband, daughter, and I absolutely LOVED the Secluded Casita. It was located in the perfect area, away from town and not too close to neighbors. The river is a very short walk from the house and there is a great deck with stairs to get into the river. The Nueces River was so beautiful and crystal clear. We went at the perfect time because the river was flowing just right so we did a lot of tubing and kayaking. My advice would be to bring some good hard bottom crocs or tennis shoes since the rocks hurt our feet with regular water shoes. The house had all of the kitchen necessities we needed to cook and we used the bbq pit every night on the porch. The bathroom inside the house was very big and cool with the ac in it. We loved having the washer and dryer to wash our wet clothes and towels each night. The entire house was very clean and welcoming. We cannot wait to go back next summer. It was so relaxing and just what we needed for a good family vacation. The host was very helpful and answered all of my questions promptly. Definitely a 5 star review!!!"
