"Located on a main road next to downtown area. Our room was quiet. Great restaurants walkable. Lots to do in the area. Good breakfast, they had no at yogurt and nonfat milk (rare!)."

"Just as advertised, my 70 year old parents got around fine. Great location in Huntington. We got married in Oyster Bay, visited family in East Northport, and walked around in Huntington. House was really well stocked. The only heads up I would offer is to be careful pulling out of the driveway they really need a stop sign on that left corner-Long Islanders drive like they are playing a video game. Awesome stay, thank you!"

"We loved this property! Excellent location for us as we were there for a wedding. Loved the home feeling, the backyard loaded with flowers, and the location! Very comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. Communication with our host was easy and reliable. A lovely house!"

"The chalet had charm. The one complain I have is that they messed up my reservations. i had booked two rooms and I called to confirm the day off and they told me that i only had one room. I showed them my credit card charges that showed two rooms were charged for. I had to scramble to find another hotel and ended up costing me close to $400 for the night and turned out it was a lousy hotel. It was rated 5 out of 10 but in the rush to get the room i totally missed the ratings. The Chalet front desk later told me that they found the other room i had booked. Too late since i already had booked another room."

"The property location is picture perfect for anyone who loves the water and sunsets. I would caution that getting to the house from the road can be a challenge as it is a significant stairway. The homeowners were great, very accommodating and a pleasure to meet. As dog-owners we truly appreciated the ability to bring our pups with us.The town, just a short walk away, is very charming and offers quality food options and quaint shoppes to browse and shop. There is a park on the water that provided a place to walk the dogs. A very nice stay."

"This was a lovely place to stay, with a well-lit entrance, beautifully maintained garden, a very responsive host. I loved the full kitchen, the quiet location, dedicated parking space, easy access to Huntington town and Huntington Station, a great coffee spot just a block away, and the LIRR train station within walking distance for jumps into NYC."
