The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, even though the place was busy bc of game day. We enjoyed our spacious king room with tub.
We felt more storage would’ve been helpful on such a large room. Also would’ve been nice to have more bar/food prep area room, but that’s probably included if we had more of a suite. It was helpful having a microwave on the room.
The coffee was an interesting setup, the large dispensers of coffee in the lobby tasted great, but we couldn’t get the keurig in our room to work. They also had a fancy $5/cup automated espresso machine downstairs which seemed obvious to everyone that it was overpriced. We tried it once and wished we had the money back.
Another great feature in the hotel was the outdoor area, one of the things that drew us to this particular hotel. The seating was comfortable and there was definitely some road noise, but overall we enjoyed ending the night there.
The staff is attentive, accommodating, and professional. The facility is uber clean and comfortable. It is located in a convenient area to sooo many things in the Knoxville area. I truly enjoyed my stay while visiting the UT Medical Center.
I once complained to the front desk as my husband ordered handicap accessible shower but end up somewhere in the bathroom with walk in shower, no threshold and shower curtain not all the way to the ground which felt water was just going everywhere. one of my daughter's swim team mate's mom also told me their room only has half glass door? but after I complained to the front desk, they told me the trick is get a room on 4th floor. its still a low bathtub, with a bar on its wall, and shower curtain, so finally no problem anymore.
I do like the window curtain, easy to control to shut down.
