"Just got back from Koh Kood and stayed at High Season Pool Villa & Spa — truly impressed from the moment we checked in. The staff were warm, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The villa was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Thai dishes — full of authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. If I have the chance to visit Koh Kood again, I’ll definitely stay here...

"Because was low season they closed the restaurant early, so you had to find other places to eat, which weren't many. But as we seemed to get ill after eating in the restaurant the 1st day wss probably just as well. Room was nice and bed good, there seemed to be a slight problem with the electrics, as ours worked even when the key wasn't in the slot to open the electrics. 😁 "

"We stayed at the Me Dee resort for 4 nights in early January in Lodge D16. The Lodge was mediocre. It was clean and the AC was good. The mini fridge is helpful and the beds were comfy. It lacked storage space and was located next to the road, which can be noisy. The shower was absolutely rubbish (terrible pressure), and the lighting in the Bathroom was poor. We managed to get a look of Lodge next door which annoyingly was much nicer! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate and got...

"This property is a couples paradise if your looking for a quiet vacation. Staff is exceptional and every bungalow is positioned for privacy. Great place for rest and relaxation and if you never want to leave the resort, you wont need to. My girl friend and i rented a scooter(moped) from Shantaa and explored the whole island. We only used 1 tank of gas the entire time."

"Overal the property need renovation..The hotel is a bit crowded and I was bothered by people from the beach who were moving freely around the resort. The resort is not cheap and you want privacy for your money. The staff is the best I have ever met in Thailand. I would definitely like to come back."

"DON'T Go THERE! The place look nice on photos. There is no direct access to the beach and what made us so angry is the bad smell of sewage ( Toilet water). After following the smell we found out that they simply take the toilet water from all rooms in 2 blue pipes and spread it all over the sand near by and to the nearest beach. "Shantaa Resort was very peaceful and serene. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. Restaurant served amazing dinner and made to order breakfast buffets. Pool and beach were also great. Concierge was helpful and able to book us a driver for our 1 day island exploration. I would highly recommend Shantaa to anybody. "
