Mixed feelings
Amazing beach, comfortable rooms, nice swimming pool and lounge area. Broken lock on my door which was annoying. I know I didn’t goon holiday to watch tv but 50 channels of Thai only TV is excessive. The option to watch a movie would have been nice.

This was a great place to stay. They have a toast , tea, coffee and chocolate all day which I thought was great. Make sure if you get beach front villa you ask for units 1-2 or 3 before booking. A little pricey but overall a nice stay. This would have been a higher rating if they did not add percentages for credit cards . I think that’s the cost of doing business.

Disappointing stay
Everything about the hotel seems unfinished which is rather disappointing. The rooms are very basic and unfinished with incredibly ugly decor and ceilings. There is no kettle or facilities in the rooms but they do offer free tea and coffee in the reception area. I’m not sure if it was because we stayed during the Christmas period but the hotel is very overpriced for the quality. There is no atmosphere in the hotel, the only evening that was enjoyable was Christmas Eve when they actually made an effort. One of the neighbouring hotels serves good food and has live entertainment. There is one lady on reception that is helpful but the other staff are not. The food at the barbecue on an evening is ok but everything else that we tried was terrible. The breakfasts were reasonable and a good selection to choose from. Don’t waste your money upgrading to the beach front properties as they are on the ugliest part of the beach so the view is very disappointing. The hotel is located on a nice beach so has the potential to be good if they trained the staff and made an effort.

Good: Great beach - simple but good room - very clean - helpful front desk - water was available everywhere - lots of chairs - wonderful shade Needs Improvement: the included breakfast was terrible compared to two other resorts in the area. - basically pre fried eggs - some fruit - pancakes. This was interesting as the lunch and dinner food was quite good. Some attention to breakfast would really assist the perception of a high quality resort. Final: We strongly recommend this resort and it would be excellent with a breakfast improvement

We enjoyed five nights at the Sea Far resort of peace and quiet. It is situated on a lovely beach front, but also has a wonderful pool for times when the surf is big during the rainy season. We really enjoyed our coconut grove cottage and thought they were great value for money during the low season. Breakfast was great with lots of Thai and Western choices. We also ate all of our lunches and dinners at the resort. The highlight was hot pot! The only issue may have been ants in the bathroom forced inside by the heavy rain. Go to Koh Kood for some relaxed beach and island time and enjoy Sea Far Resort. As the Lonely Planet says you will have a hard time raising yourself from your hammock!

staff couldnt have been more helpful or friendly. The hotel was on a beautiful beach and has a lovely pool. The room was spacious and big comfy bed. we rented scooters to go around the island and located a few near by restaurants. The hotel did a great bbq on an evening. would love to come back!

Right on the beach - great place to stay.
A lovely place to stay on this island, right on the beach where the sea is clear and warm. The boat dropped us off right on the beach of the hotel. Staff are really helpful. The pool at the back of the hotel is great if you want an alternative to the beach. Mopeds are cheap to rent direct from the hotel and the roads are pretty quiet in case you're not confident on a moped. We went for a bungalow without seaview but were really happy with our choice. I'd definitely recommend and happily stay here again.

Amazing place from the first minute of arrival. The staff were great, the beach was crazy beautiful and the room very large and comfortable. Food was excellent quality, you can also have a tab and pay at the end which is very handy.

We really liked our stay there. Nice bungalow, nice beach and the staff was friendly. The restaurant is ok and you can rent a motorcycle if you want. Everything a little overpriced. One thing thing was really bad. At night one dog came to our veranda, blood was running out of his mouth. Somebody was poisoning him. We can't help him anymore . Half an hour later he died. But this was the only bad thing what I can say about this resort. We stayed 5 nights in the coconut garden.

Nice pleasant stay.
Lovely location next to the sea. Nice welcome from the lady at the front desk and introduced us to some of the sites around the island. Very friendly and helpful, as a result we booked a snorkling day trip through her. The food was good at the hotel although the kitchen didn't have everything that was on the menu. This could've been due to the low holiday season however that should be irrelevant. The service for food wasn't up to the standard of the hotel, although polite you had to work to grab their attention if you needed them.

You need to like the colour blue
Everything is blue: Houses on the beach, towels, beds, umbrellas ... Besides to that the resort is okay :) Houses in the back are spacious but without seaview, houses with seaview are very small but literally on the beach. There is also a pool which is quite big and clean. For breakfast they offered a lot: from toast and pancakes, some fruits not too many different things, lots of warm food - and only instant coffee for whom it is important. Beach is clean and the water fantastic. Equipment for snorkeling and kayaking is available. Staff does not speak English with few exceptions. Everybody was friendly but staff was not able to remember our room number although we ve been the only couple with a caucasian baby. In general we missed the typical warm Thai friendliness. Hotel seems to do a good part of their business with large travel groups who only stay one or two nights. During our one week stay we ve seen at least five of these groups. This may be good for business but it disturbs the calmness of the place. Must do: walk along the beach to find Shantaa Resort for lunch or dinner! Fantastic Thai food! A trip to the viewpoint cafe. Lunch in the pier restaursnts in the northern or southern fisherman village.

Vi boede lige i vandkanten af den fantastisk flotte sandstrand i ældre, men pæn, ren og rimelig store hus. Alt fungerede fint og personalet var venlige og servicemindede. Kan bestemt anbefales.

Hotel liegt für uns am schönsten Strand von Koh Kut. Anlage ist eigentlich super. Nur die Beachfront Bungalows sind doch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und den Preis nicht wert. Hier bezahlt man vorallem Lage und Aussicht. Das ist aber auch der einzige Kritikpunkt. Ansonsten war alles für uns perfekt. Hervorzuheben sind auch die super netten und jederzeit zuvorkommenden Angestellten. Waren jetzt zum zweiten Mal für eine Woche dort und wir werden wieder kommen.

Super Lage am großen Strand, Kajaks, Schnorchel und Motorroller sind zum Ausleihen vorhanden. Die Bungalows sind geräumig und haben bequeme Betten. Hatten eine super Zeit. Ein paar Details hätte ich zu bemängeln: z. B. Es gibt an den Fenstern oder an den Betten kein Moskitonetz, außerdem sollten bei einem Doppelbett an beiden Seiten eine Nachttischlampe vorhanden sein, finde ich.

Les chambres sont grandes, la literie de tres bonne qualite et l'hotel est situe sur une plage superbe. Le restaurant est bon mais cher. En revanche, la deco est inexistante, il n'y a pas de crochet ou de chaise, une seule table de nuit et une seule lampe de chevet pour 2, et une odeur d'egout tres prononcee dans la salle de bains. Les bungalows en beton sont ranges comme dans un lotissement. Le service est tres moyen, aimable mais sans plus, bien loin de l'image "hotel familial" de la description. La clientele, principalement russe est franchement impolie et desagreable. Bref, un hotel correct mais sans ame qu'on ne recommande pas vraiment Surtout vu le prix des chambres

Located at 15 km from the port a nice area with aquarium fishes and coral ! food And drinks could be less expensive and better prepared ( grilled fish ) but the overall is good ( service / infrastructure etc ) and u are by the sea nezrly on the beach nd its quiet

Super freundliches Personal. Tolle Anlage, sehr schöner und gepflegter Strand. Die Bungalows am Strand sind zwar schon in die Jahre gekommen, aber allein wegen der Lage zu empfehlen. Toller Ausblick. Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Jeden Abend wurde gegrillt. Die Strandbar bietet eine tolle Atmosphäre, zu jeder Tageszeit. Es empfiehlt sich einen Motorroller zu mieten, wenn man das Resort verlassen möchte um z.B. Abends wo anders essen zu gehen. Da es allein zur Hauptstraße fast einen Kilometer ist. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Urlaub im Paradies
Wir waren 10 Tage in diesem Resort und uns hat es einfach super gut gefallen. Wir hatten einen Gartenbungalow. Zweckmäßig eingerichtet aber sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist traditionell thailändisch/ amerikanisch. Ansonsten war das Essen aber super lecker. Wer auf Schnitzel mit Pommes wartet ist hier falsch. Das Personal dort ist unheimlich nett und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einmal eine Rollerpanne und uns wurde sofort ein Ersatzroller gebracht. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht der ist in diesem familiären Resort bestens aufgehoben. Der Strand ist wunderschön!! Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir würden immer wieder hinfahren!!!

Leider hat ein Unwetter den "Strand" weggespült. Es wäre schön, wenn der Strand, der zu keinem Resort gehört, gereinigt werden würde. Es gibt keinen Mangel an Angestellten. Wenn man kein Thaifrühstück mag, ist das Gebotene sehr dürftig.

Obsluga przemila, usmiechnieta i zawsze pomocna . Nasz domek byl bardzo czysty i komfortowy, przy basenie , lozko bardzo duze i komfortowe. Sprzatanie codzienie i wymana wszystkich recznikow. Basen jest duzy i bardzo dobrze utrzymany bez woni chloru. Tutaj jest przepieknie i cichutko jak ktos chce wypoczac to tylko tutaj. w tym resorcie spedzilismy 6 tygodni i na pewno wrocimy.

Wij verbleven 3 nachten en betaalden €300,00 voor kamer bij het zwembad. Huisje aan de buitenkant best mooi. Binnen kaal en ongezellig. Geen schilderijtje aan de muur. Geen vitrage zodat je gordijnen dicht moest houden voor privacy. Geen kluisje in de kamer. Weinig kastruimte met 4 hangertjes, je tas moet op de grond blijven liggen. Geen douchegordijn. Ontbijt viond ik zeer matig; geen yogurt. Fruit is iedere dag water meloen en ananas. Cappuccino mocht/kon alleen door de baas klaargemaakt worden daar moest je dus soms even oo wachten. Restaurant vond ik ongezellig, kan met weinig middelen gezellig gemaakt worden(bloemetje, wat leuke stoeltjes en wat trendy verlichting. en s avonds te felle verlichting in restaurant gedeelte/tuin. Strand is mooi en de bar is leuk en gezellig. Personeel was vriendelijk en leuk dat je door iedereen wordt uitgezwaaid. Koffie/thee/toast/snorkel en kajak mag je de gehele dag gratis pakken.

Langt under forventningerne. Kan ikke anbefales.
Desværre så levede det ikke op til vores forventninger. Værelset var mangelfuld hvad angår skabe og plads generelt. Badeværelset var uden mulighed for opbevaring af toiletartikler. Værelserne og resortet var meget spartansk indrettet. Området var udemærket men restauranten og specielt morgenmaden var langt under standard. Derudover manglede restauranten og udeområdet en masse hygge feks hynder i stolene, lys på bordene etc. Personalet var venlige men generelt så blev der ikke ryddet af bordene løbende. Poolen var rigtig god hvilket måske var det eneste som levede op til forventningerne.

Sehr schöner Strand mit Schnorchelriff, nettes Personal und sehr guter Barkeeper, aufmerksame Chefin, funktionierende Roller, schöne Sunset zum genießen. Der einzigste minus Punkt ist das das Bad gerochen hat, aber allem in ganzen zum weiterempfehlen

Enkel resort med mycket enkelt boende. Maten i restaurangen är direkt dålig. Frukosten är i det närmaste oätlig. Fint med pool och verkligen strandnära vid Koh Koods bästa strand.
