Lovely stay!
We had an absolutely lovely stay! The view from the room, balcony and even bathroom was breathtaking! The staff were all super friendly and helpful with everything, including transportation during and after our stay. Great massage crew and view, and excellent breakfast buffet! Also the beach was amazing and the restos closeby fantastic! Afternoon and evening.. dinner on the beach was so nice! Overall was a perfect stay! (The only thing I’d point out is that it’s not very accesible for people with mobility disabilities).

Great place with a terrific view! So cheap for what you get! I highly recommend this place around the Haad Salad area. At least try it out for one night :)

This hotel is a hidden gem.
Located directly on a secluded beach - Salad - with a string of accompanying restaurants/bars. The atmosphere was relaxed and ensured a peaceful stay. The rooms are located on the hillside which offers lovely views. The rooms themselves are modern and spacious and really clean. The breakfast offered plenty of options, the pancakes were particularly good. Happy hour at the hotel restaurant was a bonus too.

Relaxing stay with some points for improvement
First of all, I must say I had a great week staying at Cookies resort. The best part of it was the location. The resort is amazingly locationed, at the end of Haad Salaad beach, so my room was overlooking the ocean. The atmosphere at the resort is laid back and relaxed, and the pool and the beach are also really beautiful. I also wish to give compliments to the bar\restaurant, serving really nice breakfast and dinner. I spent a lot of the time at the restaurant, reading books and enjoying the view. The staff were really helpful and kind and remembered what I like. Nevertheless, some things did bother me during my stay: * The balcony door didn't close hermetically, leaving space for a few bugs to sneak into the room (the mosquito net over the bed was useful) * The water pressure in the shower was ridiculously low. * The sink tap is one of those push button taps that stop automatically (like in a public restroom), which is really annoying. * If you want your room cleaned, you need to bring your key back to reception, which was annoying. Most days, I just forgot about it - so my room wasn't cleaned. * My room was located near a small parking lot, where vehicles were coming and going even in the middle of the night. Still, I would (and probably will) come back here, but I would ask for a room with a better shower :)

Away from the caos of the full moon parties.
The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, the room we stayed in was great and conveniently close to the restaurant for breakfast. If you don't want to walk up a steep hill everyday ask for a room closer to the beach. The restaurant food was average with a diverse menu for differing tast but a local restaurant called Ling Lings was within a short walk if we were in the mood for traditional Thai food

Avoid this place!!!!
Rude receptionist that made even booking a taxi an ordeal. Our first room had a flimsy door that someone had tried to break into - the metal was twisted where someone had forced it open. Also the doors and windows did not seal properly and there were mosquitos in the room and no net over the bed. We upgraded to a more expensive room which was mosquito free but the bathroom stunk. The shower head had a timber box around it which leaked out all the water and made the shower almost useless. I ended up using the cold shower next to the pool. Receptionist here was very rude. We asked if we could catch a water taxi to Chaloklum and she told us no and rang us a taxi. The "taxi" was her friend in a run down car with no seat belts and broken suspension. We later found several places in Haad Salad ran water taxis there. It is disappointing when your hotel is not truthful. We needed to get to a cooking class early on the last day so ordered a taxi and were told the taxi left at 9.15am which was too late. We had to threaten to leave and go to another hotel just to get a taxi when we needed one. Once she agreed to call the taxi, she wouldn't ring until we told her the exact address and she then tried to book us into another cooking class (presumably with another one of her friends). Her attitude was so poor and unhelpful. We stayed in 3 other hotels in Thailand and were treated much better at all 3. I wish we had booked somewhere else.

Stayed here for only two nights in the panoramic bungalow. It was really spacious, clean, and comfortable. Not buggy at all. The bed was one of the comfiest beds we have slept on in two months. I read reviews saying the service at the hotel wasn't great but I don't understand that at all. The lady at the front desk was super helpful and arranged our ferry and mini bus to krabi for us. The guys in the restaurant were super happy and gave us free pancakes both mornings. The only downfall was that it was raining and there was not a ton to do because of the location. But all in all a great resort, wish we could have stayed longer with better weather.

Nice view but needs TLC and proper wi-fi!
Very poor wi-fi service, works ONLY when sitting by the reception desk, wich is a little cubby hole without AC. Management kept on giving different excuses every day. The hotel part looks like it needs lots of TLC, we decided to shorten our stay after a wood chair at the poolside collapsed under me! Pool furniture very old, umbrellas with holes in it. Bungalows walls not sealed properly, easy for bugs to come in.

Amazing stay
Had an INCREDIBLE overnight stay - I wish I could have stayed longer. Highlights included our gorgeous room and bathroom, great air con, beautiful beachside pool and the amazing alfresco breakfast buffet, which included eggs, waffles, a large selection of cereal and pad Thai. The best part was that the pad Thai was made without peanuts - and as someone with a peanut allergy, this is a huge bonus. Could not have enjoyed my stay more - plus, it's right on my favourite beach on the island, Haad Salad.

Lovely setting
As a young couple who like a peaceful location this was great. Amazing beach, lovely pool, great food and staff. The hill is a bit steep to walk up and down to accommodation but wasn't too much of a problem and makes for a for a great view from the room. Only downside was no safe in the room and no mopeds in hotel but easy to rent from next door hotel. Journey was about 20 mins on scooter to thong sala pier but was nice to escape to the tranquility of salad beach. Great food places on the beach. really enjoyed our stay!

Hillside retreat
Very basic, no frills hotel. Restaurant staff very friendly and nice place to relax with great view. The snorkeling equipment for rent is in bad shape. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at cookies.

Breathtaking view
We came to Koh Phangan for the Full Moon Party and stayed here for a couple of nights. When we arrived we were a bit shocked since the driveway was quite steep and it was definitely a challenge with 4 suitcases to get to the reception. However, when we saw our room we were amazed. (We stayed in room 18) It was right on the beach with an amazing view. I can only recommend getting a massage from the ladies just outside our window. They are more than friendly and do an amazing job. If you stay there, make sure you walk on the beach and have lunch at Salad Hut. Great location with great food. The only issue we had was that the WIFI was not working very well - but the more time we had to enjoy the views!

Overrated
I read a lot of good thing in Expedia about this hotel but the experience was not good. The hotel seems really unstable and the reception is in bad shape. Except for one waiter, the service of the restaurant was awful. When my girlfriend asked for more alcohol in a "cocktail" - it really was just juice - a waiter just replied if we were going to pay more. The rating does not reflect the actual state of Cookies Salad.

We had an amazing stay at Cookies. We went with our two year old and was upgraded to a beach front bungalow for no extra charge. The staff are extremely friendly and very welcoming for children, making Cookies a perfect pick for families.

Best on the island
Everything was 10/10 The only thing to improve on was bed comfort. But for the price we paid, i cant complain! Food is incredible the staff are extremely friendly The island doesnt have much to do if there is no party, but if you arent after that, this is a really good retreat

Special memories at cookies
This was a special resort with all the authentic amenities for a thai getaway!!!! Restaurant was great, nice cocktails... friendly service. Hat salad is ok but it's a quaint village with some tasty restaurants (jangs was fantastic). Views were spectacular from all rooms :)

Best view in the bay!
We had a fabulous time at Cookies Salad! The service was great, the Staff were very friendly and helpful. Once we got used to all the climbing this place really grew on us. I would definitely go back!

Great view, steep climb
Great location on the end of a beach with a handful of beach bars and restaurants. We booked a room with a view which was fine because we like hiking, but it's a super steep slope so unless your into some exercise, book a room or another resort closer to sea level. Otherwise it was great waking up with a nice view.

We really enjoyed our time here. Rooms were clean. Service was great. However, not a great location if you're looking to explore. You'd need to rent a motor bike or get a taxi to go anywhere else on the island.

Удачный вариант, стоит своей цены
Уютный отель, сказочная тишина (если рядом нет маленьких детей - их слышно очень хорошо и далеко). Номера - бунгало на склоне холма с выходом к морю, просторные, с балконом, на котором есть удобные кресла, софа и настоящий гамак, с видом на бухту (море). Завтрак вкусный, Кухня хорошая. Цены более чем приемлемые. Вернёмся ещё и на более долгий срок. Из минусов - парковка для автомобилей на холме (крутой спуск и соответственно подъем пешком). Будьте внимательны - к бунгало съезд только на мотобайках, машину парковать на вершине холма!!! (Мы по незнанию спустились - еле выбрались, благо были на мощном внедорожнике). Номера чистые, Горячая вода, огромная кровать (можно на кровати вчетвером разместиться комфортно). Персонал приветлив, адекватен - всегда готовы помочь. В отличие от многих Отелей Пангана - принимают к оплате карты (как за услуги отеля, так и за другие услуги, приобретаемые через ресепшн).

Ekelhaft!
Es begann mit der Anreise. Keine ausreichende Beschilderung zum Hotel bzw. zur Rezeption. Auf unserem Weg den steilen Weg zu dem, wo wir dachten, wo die Rezeption sei, wurden wir von einigen netten Männern angesprochen, die Palmen schnitten. Einer nahm uns das Gepäck ab und führte uns kurz vor das Zimmer (Türen standen weit auf- Moskitos juhu!) und dann weiter zur Rezeption. Soweit so nett. Dann gings los. Für thailändische Verhältnisse wurden wir eher ungenügend über das Resort unterrichtet (wo z.B. die Schließfächer stehen. Antwort: In der Küche). Als wir nach einem netten Restaurant / street food in der Nähe fragten, kamen keine Tipps. Es wurde lediglich auf einen Supermarkt around the corner verwiesen, den wir nie gefunden haben. Nun gut. Auf Koh Phangan findet man sich zurecht. Ca. 2km Fußmarsch über die hügelige Straße ist ein kleiner Ort, wo man gutes Essen findet. +++ Danach kam für uns persönlich der Kracher +++ FLECKIGE Betten (gelbliche Flecken und Blutflecken, auch unter den Bezügen, die waren einfach hinüber), ÜBEL RIECHENDE Handtücher und ein kaputtes Rohr unterm Waschbeken, dass das Zimmer nach KATZENPIPI riechen ließ. Selbst für thailändische Verhältnisse war das eklig. Der Gecko im löchrigen Moskitonetz war irgendwie noch niedlich und die Käfer im Bad auch kein Problem. Thailand eben. Wir gaben kurz Bescheid und sofort kamen wieder zwei Männer, die uns bereitwillig halfen. Problem dabei: Es wurde ein weiteres mit kleinen Blutflecken schmutziges Bettlaken a

Buen hotel pero no hay nada para hacer por la zona
El hotel esta muy bien y la gente muy agradable pero la zona es muy tranquila, no hay nada para hacer por la noche. Si buscas relajarte totalmente es tu lugar, pero si quieres algo de ambiente no. El wifi no funciona muy bien, se corta bastante. La playa increible!!! Es muy bonita

Heerlijk resort. Wij hadden een prima kamer met balkon in hoofdgebouw. Veel leuke huisjes. Enige nadeel waren de vele trappetjes naar zwembad / restaurant of strand. Maar wel alles met prachtig uitzicht op een fantastische baai. Erg vriendelijk personeel.

Good position but...
The hotel is on the beach , beatiful to see the beach from our room but the position is the best skill the hotel has. My room.was nice but at 6.00 a.m. I had to wake up because there were no dark panels , I could ear everything from neighbour room , every night it rained hard and I had water in my room everyday , even the bathroom was always wet . The reception woman is nice and a couple of bar staff too but nobody else. Everything could be better !!!!!!!

Joli hôtel et superbe point de vue. très familial. Piscine appréciée des enfants. Mer magnifique. Chambres fonctionnelles mais dans le bâtiment il faut passer devant le balcon des autres. Aussi pente très raide pour accéder aux chambres mais on s'habitue. Buffet pdj sympa. Attention quand même si vous voulez bouger sur l'ile il faudra louer un véhicule car la baie est un peu isolée et taxis chers....
