Good family run hotel. Have stayed on Koh Tao several times including other hotels. We have stayed at Pranee Amata 5 times now and would highly recommend. Will always choose this hotel. All staff are so helpful and nothing is too much trouble.

We have visited Koh Tao many times and have stayed at Pranee Amata for the last 7 visits as we have found it to be the most convenient hotel for Sarrie beach, as its quieter than the ones that are on the beach but still close to the action, they have their own swimming pool which is lovely, the rooms are cleaned daily, the staff are helpful and friendly, a very good for value hotel.

Perfect for our stay. Close to the main area but a bit back so lovely and quiet. Nice big room, plenty of seating. Nice pool, sometimes had a dive school but they only used one half of the pool leaving the other half. Staff very friendly. Not 5* but it's not 5* prices, great value for Koh Tao. We stayed 12 nights and were very happy.

Amazing staff !!

Staff made this place worth it. Very kind and so helpful. They arranged the scooter from the hotel for us. We had a 7am ferry and with the front desk having limited hours it was not a problem, someone was able to help us check out and return our scooter at 6am. Although I recommend arranging those things the night before if you need to leave early. Central location, quiet away from the noise. Beds were hard but everything else amazing

Have stayed at this hotel on several occasions before, each stay has been more disappointing than the last, the pool bar is never open, so should not be advertised anymore, the pool is used everyday by dive schools doing scuba lessons, dogs barking all night. Don't think we will use this hotel again.

Fine og meget rene værelser. Rigtigt fint hotel til prisen og personalet var søde og hjælpsomme. Poolområdet er trist og bruges af dykkere. Poolbaren er aldrig åben. Ingen elevator, men personalet hjælper som altid med bagage.

Öppet, men få turister

Bodde i ett rum med tre sängar. Lite lustig design på badrummet med duschen för toaletten. Dock med väldigt bra tryck och varmvatten för att vara ett thailändskt hotell i den här prisklassen. På grund av få turister så var endast hotellet igång, ingen av deras restauranger eller barer.

タオ島はスキューバダイビングをする人にとっては憧れの地で世界中からそれを目当てに沢山の人が訪れます。 残念ながらコロナの為に今はお客さんは今は少ないです、ですが海も魚も島本体も宿泊環境も何も変わらないで癒しをくれます、今がチャンスかもです。

Great clean pool, cleaned every day, nice rooms, cleaned every day, good location, friendly staff. Only problem was the fridge which turned off when you were not in the room.

WARNING WARNING!!

WARNING WARNING! Someone had gone through our bags one day when we got back to our room. Things were displaced and on further inspection we found that 5000 baht was missing!!! We had locked the door and the staff claim that they always locked the door as well which means that the person that took the money most likely has a key. We never saw who took them and the hotel management asked their staff and nobody knew either. In the process of informing the hotel management we were asked to search our bags and had to empty the entire content of our bags out on the bed IN FRONT OF the hotel staff! Extremely uncomfortable. Other than that very sketchy and uneven water heat going from freezing cold to burning within seconds. Not at all a place to recommend!

Sale de bain très basique

Chambre spacieuse mais pas très propre, la sale de bain est horrible pour ma part et je ne reviendrai pas pour cette raison par contre les gens de l’hôtel ont étés d’une gentillesse et loin du port pour se promener compter 400 bath du vol car éloigné du port pas énormément de choses. pas d’eau chaude dans la sale de bain vraiment basique

Excellent value for money.

Staff were extremely welcoming when we arrived and throughout the whole trip. Hotel was very clean and pool was lovely. We will definitely be staying here again and would like to say a special thank you to Noyna who worked at reception for making our trip so memorable.

Ganska nöjd!

Det var ganska bra! Vi hade lite problem med våran toalett de fixade tre gånger sen var både handdukarna och lakanen lite smutsiga. Man var tvungen att be om att få städning vilket var ganska dåligt men när vi kom blev vi oxå uppgraderade till en svit vilket var väldigt trevligt! Kylskåp och ac fungerade bra!

冷蔵庫は、外出等で部屋の鍵を持ち出すと止まります。そのため、昼間外出していて、夕方戻ると室温です。役にたちません。 シャワーは、全力で出すと、シャワー室の扉に直撃し、部屋が水浸しになります。 部屋の掃除は、朝に札を出すとやってくれるシステムのようですが、元々部屋に札が無く、クレームを言って、宿泊3日目にやっと札が来た。 部屋の掃除をしても8回中3回、無料の水を置くのを忘れられた。 部屋の細かい注意事項、案内が何も無く、自分で全部聞いた。（もちろん英語） プールがあることだけが利点で、それ以外は、周りのもっと安いホテルの方が良かったと思う。（同時期に周辺ホテルに宿泊していたため、聞いてみた。）

Nice stay in Koh Tao

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel. First it’s close from the beach, but not too close so you can sleep well. The pool is nice, the employees are perfect and really helpful. It’s also close from restaurants, bars... but again not too close. I didn’t rent a scooter for my stay in this hotel.

The rooms are very modern and clean, we were quite impressed for the price. The rooms are also quite spacious. The bathroom was large however the water for the shower was freezing cold on the hottest setting. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely helpful and kind.

Accueil chaleureux, personnel très serviable. Aommi, à la réception, nous a été d’un grand service pour nos transports et des informations touristiques. Elle est très aimable et consciencieuse, tout comme le personnel. Nous y sommes restés plus longtemps en attendant que l’alerte météo cesse (pluie abondante et orages). Ils sont bien équipés pour pallier aux pannes de courant. La piscine peut servir pour les cours de plongée.

プールもある綺麗なホテル

こちらは２度目の宿泊になります。以前と比べて綺麗なプールが出来てました。スッタフも以前より増えてとても感じがいいです。昼食も食べましたが、安くて早く、美味しかったです。ダイビングの昼休みでも間に合いました。ルームクリーニングやお水の補給はドアノブに目印を掛けて置かないとやってもらえません。タオ島ではわりと当たり前なんですが、慣れて無いと驚きます。僕はたまにやってもらって、他の日はスタッフにタオル交換と水を下さいと言えば直ぐに対応してもらえるので不自由はしませんでした。でも日本から来た人はびっくりしてましたけど。お値段からすると、部屋がきれいでプールもあるし、頼み事は直ぐしてくれるので、オススメだと思います。港の送迎はロンプラヤー社の船の時間は無料で送ってくれました。(朝9時です)船のチケット買ったからかもしれないですけど？

Perfect base around Sairee Beach

The location is excellent, short walk to the beach, 7-11s, restaurants and dive shops. Staff were brilliant, organised an earlier check in, taxi back to the pier - pleasant, very accommodating and no issues. Beautiful pool, (sadly didn’t try the pool bar), spacious room, comfy bed, beach towels, daily water, kettle, fridge, air con and also fan. Stayed on the second level, quiet enough as pool closes at 8pm. Only small issues, the fridge requires the key in to operate and the bathroom had a clunky design as you have to walk through the shower to get to the toilet and sink. Overall perfect place to stay and be close to all the action, thanks to all staff at Pranee Amata!
