Located just 30 feet from the surf on Kauai's sunny south shore, our 1 bedroom, 1 bath, 900 sq. ft., professionally decorated, fully equipped, OCEANFRONT Poipu condo Hawaii vacation rental at the famed Kuhio Shores offer those planning a Hawaii vacation in Poipu Beach some of the most spectacular ocean views, sunrises and sunsets found on the beautiful Island of Kauai, Hawaii.

This exceptional, newly remodeled unit juts out from the main building, putting you 10 feet closer to the ocean and providing totally unobstructed views.

Kuhio Shores is a 75 unit oceanfront condo complex with beaches on both sides, yet total privacy from the lanai because of the 20 foot greenbelt to the ocean. This vacation rental has the closest oceanfront units on all of Kauai, Hawaii.

Situated on a promontory, the building is protected from wave action by a reef offshore, making it ideal for wave, turtle, and whale watching. The ocean just below the condo provides some of the best snorkeling on the island and beyond the reef are three of the south shore's most popular surfing sites; P.K.'s, Centers and Acid Drops.

Great condo. View was spectacular! South facing made watching sunrise and sunsets truly magical! Facilities were good. A/C made the temperature tolerable for us! Load up on quarters for the common washer/dryer. We ate in the condo a handful of times during our ten day trip and had plenty of dishes, pans, etc…BBQ facilities were good-watch out for the parakeets! Parking/lighting was good. People left extra food to share on the table in front of the elevators!! We had a great time on the island and will eventually be back! Mahalo nui loa!

Awesome condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our ten days in Poipu. This condo is exceptional with all amenities and perfect location. Sound of waves crashing on the beach below is hypnotic. We give this condo our highest recommendation.

Beautiful View!

Incredible view, so lovely to have the waves crashing all day and night. We very much enjoyed having the kitchen space and the beach rentals! Great spot on the south shore, right next door to beach house restaurant! Such special memories and can’t wait to come back someday!

Truly Oceanfront with No Obstruction

Fabulous location! Watch surfers from dawn till dusk! Perfect ocean view! Nice neighborhood with good shopping and dining options. Highly recommend!

Great spot and location!

We really enjoyed our stay here - the room is literally right on the ocean. We listened to the waves all night and watched the turtles on the reefs in the morning. The location is right next to Beach House and Lawai Beach (excellent snorkeling). We'd love to come back!

Great view & neighborhood

We have stayed at this property in a different unit. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the surfers every morning. This condo is close to many restaurant and has everything you need. The fans and the AC in the bedroom kept the unit cool.

Amazing view and location

So amazing to watch and listen to the ocean all day! We saw turtles and dolphins. Surfing and snorkeling right at the condo. Comfortable bed. We appreciated the welcome basket, the filtered water, the beach chairs and towels, and plentiful outlets. We recommend The Eating Place for dinner- nearby good food and good service. Thank you!

Great Views!!

The condo is perfect for awesome sunrise and sunset views. An awesome location central to many things to do in the island. We loved the condo and it was very cozy and so nice to go to sleep and wake up to the sound of the surf on the rocks. We were very happy with our choice of Bob and Merideth’s beautiful condo and can’t wait to return! Mahalo!

Perfection in Poipu

The condo is beautiful and the location proved great for our use as home base. The size was perfect for the two of us. The view from the lanai is stunning-we enjoyed watching surfers, sea turtles, sunrises, and sunsets. We found excellent restaurants nearby with The Tasting Room in Koloa standing out as our favorite. We would definitely stay here should we return to Kaui.

Wonderful Condo and great ammenities

My wife and I stayed here for one week. It was wonderful and as described. The amenities that are included actually surpassed the much larger home we stayed at the week before with the rest of our family. We even had to have a package delivered while there and both the owners and the onsite manager were helpful in assisting us getting the emergency delivery. We would definitely look at staying here again on our next Kauai vacation.

Beautiful Views

Check in was breeze and the unit was very clean. Alllthe necessities were provided. Kitchen was equipped and we appreciated the selection of snacks provided -nice touch. Overall I recommend this property - 5 stars My only complaint about our stay was it was too short.

Crashing waves :)

The location is great, condo is well stocked and the view is awesome! It was fun to watch the turtles from the lanai. The only suggestion.....would be to have space for guests to unpack their bags into a dresser and a cabinet for food during the stay. We will be coming back for sure!

Absolutely Perfect!

The host was extremely informative and communication was timely and thorough. We felt very taken care of. The property was absolutely spectacular. Pictures do not do the view justice and the sound of the ocean at night was incredible. The location of the property was very close to everything we wanted to do. Will definitely be back and I would encourage anyone visiting the island to consider this property. You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful Oceanfront Condo

We loved our stay here! Every evening we watched beautiful sunsets and have coffee and watch surfers from the lanai. We also saw turtles and whales. Steps away from the ocean and prime snorkeling. We appreciated being able to use the beach equipment in the closet. Our only issue was with the air conditioning unit above the bed. The humidity was high and some nights were a bit warm - turning on the AC and would cause water to condense and drip onto the bed, so we made do.
