"Up in the mountainside surrounded by forest lays this beautiful monastery. We visit the monastery, tried the local wine and had dinner at the restaurant. It had a great view and it was silent and nice. Our room was clean and nice and the beds comfortable. We definitely want to come back again!"
"This was an unusual hotel. First, it was located in an industrial area, away from convenient access to the town. Second, our stay was over a weekend when absolutely no one was there at the desk for the entire time. Poor people from Switzerland were confused as there was no one to check them out, so they had to just leave. We had no on-site restaurant for the weekend, and saw no one until Monday morning. "The property is very nice. The breakfast included was wonderful. The town of Keidrich is about 5 minutes away and has so many wonderful restaurants. My only complaint would be the view. When we booked, the room says valley view but since our room was on a lower level it actually overlooks the driveway and the parking lot. All night long, you can hear cars driving up. I think if we had a higher level room it would have been more enjoyable. "

"The apartment is located on the edge of Johanisberg allowing easy access for walks in the surrounding vineyard. Many restaurants are in easy walking distance including the 2 restaurants at the Burg Schwarzenstein.
The apartment is very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped. The balcony is very pleasant to sit on in and enjoy the view. If it is too cold there is a large window which you can look out from the dining area. "
