"This resort is an excellent place to relax and have a actual holiday. It is located beside the sea, beach and water is excellent for swimming, snorkeling etc. Accommodation was nice, clean and excellent condition. Most staff were friendly and great assistance. The pool bar staff though needs level up in better customer service. Nicely organised with separate adult pool. Quite a few choices of restaurants and food. I will definitely be coming again. Coral coast location is an excellent holiday area."

"I have stayed at the Hideaway for the past ten years. Although there are many other prestigious resorts at the Coral coast, I love staying at the Hideaway because the bures are only steps away from the beach, it is a place of peace, the resort is not too big and therefore not impersonal and all of the staff are so caring and friendly and a big shout out to the manager Miva who would do anything to make sure you all of your needs are catered for. Only negative is the poor internet connection."

"My visit to Shagri-La in June 2025 was my first visit to Fiji & my first resort experience. And it was a delight. As I am sure is the same at every Fiji resort, the staff were lovely, friendly, helpful & hard working. The facilities were great - not state of the art & brand spanking new - but as advertised and equivalent to the rates paid. Highly recommend to stay at adults only end to anyone travelling w/o children given the access to the quiet pool, the reef, & away from the noise & family chaos. Yes, it is a bit more of a walk (or buggy ride) to the restaurants etc but is worth it! Having said that, the rooms were quiet & you couldn’t hear your neighbours unless out on the balcony or if someone walked noisily past your door. The breakfast buffet was fabulous but if you are desperate for a ‘proper’ coffee, not the filtered variety, you will need to show a level of patience. This is not a Melbourne barista cafe but rather operates on Fiji time. Having said that, you are here to relax & enjoy, so what’s the rush?! It didn’t bother me that I was pretty much finished breakfast by the time my coffee arrived each morning, but I could see others were annoyed. Can highly recommend the Indian restaurant, and BBG was also fab & those two had the best service. The Asian restaurant you do need to book early. What’s not well known is that the reef is just out your door. Put on a snorkel & put your head underwater & be amazed by the sea life where the water is knee deep"

"There were adult areas so plenty of quiet spaces amongst the many families. We thoroughly enjoyed our childless time in the many quiet spaces especially the pool and bar for adults only. Food was good and staff were fantastic "
