"Great, clean hotel. Beds could be comfier but other than that everything else was fine. Hotel grounds nice and well kept and for the amount of flowers I never saw any beasties. About a 10 minute walk to nearest beach with loungers and 30 mins into centre and marina, although everyone just hires bikes and cycles there. Not a lot of choice in the all inclusive food but edible. Overall great hotel for price and would go again."

"I stayed at Orpheus Studios in October and loved it. The apartment was spotless, and it felt very safe. The location is excellent: the harbour is about a five-minute walk away. The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. They always made sure I had what I needed. If you want a clean, safe, well-located place in Kos Town, I’d definitely recommend Orpheus Studios."

"It was fine, quite basic but nice enough. Overall not bad hotel for the money. Room fine, with a balcony but ours were blocked with trees, which would be welcoming I expect in height of summer, pleasant bed (two twins together), kitchenette was useful (bring washing up liquid and wash sponge, seems to be common in Greece). The bathroom was small with bath mat and floor soaking due to shower. Nice pool / sun bathing area, with pool bar which does breakfast/lunch/evening meals (music could be a touch quieter but not too bad). Hotel breakfast was quiet well used, we didn't use so presume was OK. Good reasonably priced grocery shop opposite not linked to hotel. Short walk to main road to Kos, (pebbly) beach with 3+ nice beach restaurants and a sports bar. 30+min walk to Kos Town (with ancient ruins on the way) which wasn't bad (in end of September wouldn't want to do it in summer) apart from cyclists who seen to have right if way. Kos Town is worth the walk very historical, or hire a bike or use bus. Taxi 8 euros."

"We only stayed here for one night before a ferry to another island but we enjoyed our stay. We didn't arrive till midnight but there was someone waiting on reception to check us in. Room was nice, clean, comfy and quiet with a room on the back. Breakfast was good with a plentiful selection of items. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. Easy walk into the heart of Kos town. Check out was 11am and as our ferry wasn't till the afternoon we were able to leave our bags at the hotel whilst we did some sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again."

I honestly do not know what the negative reviewers were expecting, because a hotel for this price in Greece reflected my experiences."
