Rooms were cleaned. Service was good. Highly recommended. Convenient for transportation to anywhere includes from airport. First they provided very small rooms not even have space for luggage but later they swapped for better rooms. Overall, it is safe, clean and close to all kind of transportations and shopping.

Not good.

The Fortune Inn was actually a hostel advertised under another name. When I arrived, it was on the 7th floor of a shopping/apartment complex but was hard to find as it was listed as 'Apple Hostel'. The room itself was clean but had wires hanging out of the walls. The bathroom leaked into the bedroom. There were cockroaches in the lobby. Guests came in and out all night so sleeping was difficult. I checked out early and thankfully the customer service team were very helpful. I found another hotel for a similar price and had a good stay there.

In tsim sha tsui which is in the middle of everything. Close to the mtr, buses etc. cheap eats. They offer laundry service for 60hkd, which is similar price to coin machine laundromat.

Definitely not how it was presented. You will get a very, very small room with bathroom/shower combo (in other words, the shower stall is also where the sink and toilet is) fortunately the floor drain was easy to clean and this one did not fill with water like some I experienced. Advice- Take a shower at night so the bathroom is dry in the morning. I am only 5'6" and my feet were hanging off the bed most of the time so that gives you an idea of how big the beds are. The under bed drawer was useful to stow our small backpacks (day-packs. Anything larger would not have fit). Lots of light comes into the room so an eye-mask is a good idea. We had to go find someone to check us in, which took a while, but the other inns on the floors all had attentive people who helped us find the right place. There really is no "front desk" just a small place where they keep cleaning supplies. There is only one elevator that reaches this floor and it is small. You can take the even number elevator if you do not want to wait and use the stairs, but the stairways are pretty unused, hot, and look like they haven't been cleaned in decades. There is a camera on the elevator, so safety is pretty good, but you will be checked out by the middle-aged men who crowd on. Sometimes best to wait for the next ride. Overall, I would not stay here again. Is was decently clean, and definitely an experience, and definitely cheap, but not what I would call comfortable or a good night's sleep. Great location though.
Very small room, but decently clean. Beds are the shortest I have used since a child. Feet hung off if I didn't scoot up to the wall.
Not cover for the window (our view) under the air unit, but the AC worked well.
The old window shaft had a great Blade-runner vibe. Actually, the entire place did. Lots of shops and eateries on the lower floors.
Our fix for the window to block the light (but we forgot the map one day, lol)

Zimmer hatte gerade mal 1/3 der Fläche des abgebildeten Zimmers. Hostel liegt im Hinterhof, mitten im Rotlichtviertel. Das einzige was nicht knallte waren die Türen.... Auf dem Weg zur Rezeption (man muss durch den ebenerdigen Basar) von 8 Hookern und 2 Drogendealeren angehauen worden.
