The hotel is more like being in Orlando than in Thailand. It has no Thai personality. Very much a family resort, the pool lounges are taken by 9:00 a.m and guests keep them all day, even if they don’t use them for hours at a time. Lots of small children, not always supervised. The room was large and comfortable. Lots of choices at the breakfast buffet but the coffee was some of the worst I ever had at a hotel. There are lots of better choices in Krabi.

Great location and the kids loved the pools. Breakfasts had lots of variety and the night time entertainment (singers & fireshow) are fantastic. We had a hard time getting beach towels and wish the pools were open a bit longer - but other than that it was excellent.

It was overall a good experience except for some minor issues such as running out of towels at the pool, some housekeeping deficits and on one occasion we went on an early morning excursion and needed a boxed breakfast. The breakfast consisted of a couple of breads, a juice and water. We were surprised given a buffet breakfast comes with the room.

Great place to stay on the quieter side, walk down to the beach and eat local Thai spicy dishes at The Last Fisherman, then walk through and brave the Monkey Trail, lit up at night giving an otherworldly appearance.

The property location is perfect. Close to all shopping, dining, and the long tail boats, but also just the right distance that it’s still quiet. The room was clean and very spacious. Amenities were nice, and the included breakfast buffet was excellent. The only things I missed having in my room were a desk & chair for my laptop, as well as having an iron, although they will bring one to you if you ask. The staff was genuinely kind and helpful. The gym was small but adequate. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations and I would recommend this hotel in every way.

A delightful stay
The experience was fantastic - loved the room, amenities, furniture, lots of storage/table/ hanging space and its location. We got a room facing the main pool ~ best spot for families with young children! The resort has direct beach access and you can simply walked out through the back gate to get to restaurants, shopping area or to get tuk-tuk and explore other parts of Krabi. Will we come back again? Definitely yes! The pull factor is definitely the customer service rendered, location wise & amenities.

Great location, close to restaurants and shopping but quiet at the same time. Loved everything here, my only two complaints are the beach - wish it was more private and coffee was better quality. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a stay at Ao Nang.

Really amazing place, children-friendly. close to the beach w an amazing view. The breakfast spread was amazing too. However. we got the in-room pool, unfortunately, it wasn't a beautiful sight. Should have gotten a cheaper room as the shared pool was amazing enough.

Pros: Close to shopping, massage and restaurants, staff were very helpful booking activities, very friendly, lots of options at breakfast buffet, walk out pool suite was awesome but closes at 7 pm , which is way too early in my opinion Cons: Guests start placing towels on sunbeds at the crack of dawn and don't show up until halfway thru the day (ugh), only the beach restaurant is open all day, the other restaurant is only open for breakfast buffet Suggestions: for pool access suites, placing a mat inside the door to wipe wet feet would help, the floor can be very slippery when wet

Staff are friendly but service standards were a bit patchy and inconsistent. I shared my feedback with the front desk manager, Ms Nee, and she was eager to understand my concerns and do service recovery which I appreciated so despite these hiccups I would rate my stay as overall enjoyable. Location is excellent - once you step out you have access to restaurants and shops. The main shopping street is just a few mins walk away and the surroundings feel very safe as there are many people around. The sister resort Centara Grand is not far away and more posh but also more secluded as it is accessible only by boat so is less convenient, hence the Centara Ao Nang is a good compromise in terms of convenience vs comfort.

Superbe location, directly at the Ao Nang beach
Really nicely placed at Ao Nang beach with frontside pool directly at the sea, only a few steps away from shops, restaurants and bars. The resort is quite large, offers plenty of services, rooms are of good size, with balcony. I would choose this hotel again if in Ao Nang.
