This is a quiet place to stay just outside of the main town, where most of the tourists are. We had to take a Grab to the beach, which is a 10 minute drive. There are some shops/markets outside of the hotel but if you want the “true” tourist feel, it’ll be closer to the beach. This felt more local, which is still nice! There were some ants in our room, which is inevitable, so we had to be careful where we left food.

Great budget hotel

Great hotel! Room is clean spacious and comfortable. Staff is friendly. Close to Ao nam Mao pier if you want to do a day trip to Railey beach. 7/11 store across the hotel which is very convenient. 10 minute grab ride to aonang.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, water pressure is great, toilet flashing is powerful. My only issue is the traffic noise you can hear outside at night. Otherwise, great location- only 10 min ride to Ao Nang beach. Convenient for tours pick up. In overall, very happy with my stay and extended it for 3 extra nights.

Great Value!

After traveling around Thailand for two months, this hotel is probably the best value to cost during my entire trip. I booked mostly on reviews but also liked location as it's more local and close but not directly in the super touristy area. As others have stated, the accommodations are excellent and very clean. The bed is very comfortable, and the room is rather large compared to Thai hotels. I also was able to seamlessly rent a scooter from Chami Motorbike. The owner was easy to work with and flexible. I would also mention that the area is more walkable than perceived by others. I was able to walk to 7-11, the local grocery, laundry, several local restaurants and Ao Nam Mao Beach, which are all within 1/2 mile. I was also able to run every day down to the beach. It's definitely walkable.
