Great place to stay and relax and very affordable. Highly recommend a deluxe sweet, comes with your own pool. Really close to the beach and loads of great places to eat. Recommend hiring a scooter to get around and experience all beaches close by. Perfect place to catch the sunset with cocktails.

While staying at The Pelican I received a very mixed experience. Firstly we organised to be picked up by the hotel from the airport, this did not happen. After landing and collecting our bags at KBV, I messaged the driver to inform him of our arrival and check where he was. After already waiting for an hour in the airport I was informed he would be at least another hour. I decided to cancel and got a taxi for half the price the hotel was charging. Upon arriving the staff was friendly and apologised many times for the inconveniences, just to inform us our room wasn’t ready and we would be staying in another room for the night. It was clear the hotel was under renovation with loud banging and the sound of tools been used consistently occurring during the day. Coupling this with shouting, arguing and ‘banging sounds’ throughout the night from other guests made it hard to relax at times. While other guests being loud isn’t directly a hotel’s fault, when it happens 10/12 nights some accountability should be held. We were also promised a bar, restaurant and room service. Sadly this was not provided. While yes the hotel has the facilities for this, we did not see them open once in the entire duration of our stay. It’s hard to decide if I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. This is a transitional time for the hotel meaning that with time, review of process and some small adjustments this hotels customer satisfaction could improve.

It is a condominium building that is mostly empty. Balcony doors would not lock in the room. Service came to provide a temporary fix during our stay. Staff was very nice.

I have mixed feelings about this property. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. My unit was clean and the bed was comfortable. The property itself is in need of a major cash infusion to do necessary repairs to the exteriors of the buildings. I think covid hit this property hard. There was an obvious broken pipe in my building as water was leaking from random places all the time which may have contributed to the sewer smell that came from the kitchen sink. I really hope the property managers can figure things out because it would be a shame to see this once lovely property go to ruin.

Ich liess mich nach der ersten Woche upgrade(n), die Terrasse war zwar kleiner, aber ich hatte einen Privatpool und insgesamt mehr Platz. Ich fühlte mich sehr wohl in „meinem“ Appartement!
4.Stock, Topfloor: Appartement mit 2 Schlafzimmer en Suite, Küche, Wohnzimmer und Privatpool
Noch im 3. Stock mit etwas lauten Nachbarn. Appartement war auch sehr angenehm. Schalldichtung ist nicht optimal.

Underbart läge, fin pool men väldigt slitet!

Vi var där i april 2024. Då var max 20% av hotellet igång. Övriga rum var "övergivna". Vi bodde i ett Ocean view top floor med egen pool. Blev uppgraderade fran 2 till 3 rum. Jättefin lägenhet med stora ytor och 3 badrum! Uteplatsen på taket med stor pool hade utsikt över "hela havet". Helt magiskt. Dock fanns inget soltak, det hade nog ruttnat, vår solsäng var möglig och det fanns inget solskydd. Vi betalade 42000 baht för 4 nätter, det var det värt!

Wirklich wunderschöne Unterkunft. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und der Service war top. Würden jederzeit wieder dort hin gehen. Der private Pool lohnt sich auf jeden Fall sehr, wunderschön um Abends mit der Familie noch zusammenzusitzen und zu trinken.

Stunning Ocean Sunset View

Overall i would recommend this place as our room (1401 a block) somehow feels like it was the best one out of the other rooms in that resort. We had the pool by the ocean and what a view it was seeing the sunset at night and chilling by the pool in the dark as it has balcony lights. Pool size was reasonable to swim back and forth. Enough for 3 people comfortably. Room we had was 3 bedrooms so 6 people can stay.. fridge, hob, microwave so can cook. Air conditioning in every room and a bonus is that you can leave it on whilst we was out for the day so nice and chilled when we are back in. Resort had their own pool but we never got round to it as we had our own. Room is clean and spacious with 2 of the rooms having own doors to go out to the pool. Only thing is that if you wanted room to be cleaned then you have to leave the key at the front desk. Car park is free (car is a must to explore that place) Breakfast could be a lot better i feel for being a 4 star as just feels somewhat skimpy in certain things. Having said that i would go back for that room again

Gammelt slidt hotel. Var der for 1 år siden og der er ikke sket forbedringer . Store rum med masse af plads for farmile med børn. Personale er flinke men forstår ikke engelsk. Siger bare ja ja og så sker der ingenting . Der sker ikke meget efter 21.00 I byen. Dejlig strand med fornuftige priser på mad

A nice quiet place with a beautiful pool area. We had a roof to pool room, which was very nice. The little beach close by is good, a bit rocky, but lots of excellent beach bars and restaurants with high quality food and drinks. Don´t go here for nightlife. Go to Ao Nang then.

Nice resort

Nice resort, but it is NOT on the beach as it looks like on the pictures on Hotels.com, you have to cross a road. The apartement we stayed in was lovely and big, but the bed was really hard, and the water pressure in the shower was terrible. We had a nice pool view, and a big balcony. The pool is big and very nice, but there are very few sun bed's around the pool. The location is great (ecxept that you have to cross the road to come to the beach) It is close to many lovely beach restaurants. Khlong Muang is a nice area to stay in with a lovely beach. The breakfast was ok, not more than that. The staff was very nice and helpful, but there were a few things that could be improved. The christmas flowers was cleared away on the floor where the breakfast buffet was. When the juice was empty at breakfast it took to long before they refilled it. The same problem was it with the food, plates, beach towels and towels in the gym. The staff should have been more attentive to avoid this. Sometimes it could look like they were understaffed. But we had a nice stay in this hotel.
