    Kröpelin is the ideal starting point for day trips to the dreamy Baltic seaside resort of Rerik (approx. 11km) or to the well-known and much visited Baltic resort of Kühlungsborn (approx. 10 km) with its beautiful beach promenade, many cafes and restaurants, concert gardens to the east and west and the marina. The cathedral town of Bad Doberan with Germany's oldest horse racing track and the well-known seaside resort of Heiligendamm are about 8 km away. Enjoy the many leisure activities such as riding on the horse farm, cycling, hiking or water sports such as fishing, surfing, kiting and diving.
