It is a listed building and was completely and extensively renovated in 2014 from a building biology point of view. It is located in the centre of Rysum.
The house also has a small, enclosed garden with a wooden terrace, garden furniture and a parasol.
The interior design is particularly tasteful and reflects the charm and character of the 60 m² detached house. The attention to detail is recognisable in every single room. The tiled bedroom has a double bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m) and a TV as well as underfloor heating and a radiator to keep you cosy and warm in winter. The living room is furnished with a fireplace, flat-screen TV with satellite connection, stereo system and underfloor heating. On the open gallery, which can be reached via a listed staircase from the living room, there are two further beds (each 0.80 m x 2.00 m). The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a modern 5-burner gas hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. The ground-floor bathroom with shower, (infrared) heat cabin, washing machine, underfloor heating and radiators round off the furnishings of the house. The high ceilings give the entire house plenty of light and spaciousness. A travel cot and a high chair with seat reducer are also available. The entrance area and the ground floor, including the shower, are at ground level.
In the village centre there is a Gulfhof converted into a restaurant, a village tavern and a small bakery. There is a larger supermarket in Emden, about 8 km away. The sea is approx. 4 km away on foot. The nearest major railway station is 10 km away.
