We warmly welcome you to our lovingly furnished holiday rental in the idyllic village of Eilsum, which was completed in May 2024.

Enjoy the peace and quiet far away from the hustle and bustle and crowds of tourists. The small mound village of Eilsum is located right next to the well-known historic fishing village of Greetsiel. From here, there are many opportunities for excursions and leisure activities. Discover nearby Greetsiel, the Krummhörn, and the beautiful natural scenery of the Wadden Sea on foot, by bike, or by water. Plenty of shopping options and dining establishments are conveniently and quickly accessible nearby.

The property is located directly on the Siel, the Old Greetsiel Sieltief, and features its own garden and a private dock. With an unobstructed view of the Sieltief and the surrounding greenery, you can truly unwind here—whether you’re dipping your feet in the water, going fishing, or paddling.

Bright, airy, and light. Our comfortable, high-quality ground-floor apartment is furnished in a timeless, Nordic style with light colours. The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome upon request.

The centrepiece of the apartment is the open and bright living and dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows. The fully equipped kitchenette features a dishwasher, an induction cooktop with an exhaust hood, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, and a combination oven and microwave. In addition, many other kitchen appliances are available, such as a kettle, toaster, Melitta drip coffee maker, Senseo coffee pad machine, Nespresso capsule machine, manual coffee filter, thermos, waffle maker, sandwich maker, a raclette set, a Braun multi-tool for mixing, pureeing, mashing, stirring, chopping, and crushing ice, as well as a fondue set, along with various baking and casserole dishes and microwave-safe cookware. We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. With us, you don’t need to buy or lug around heavy cases of water or plastic water bottles. Enjoy filtered and chilled drinking water—still, medium, or sparkling—from the Grohe Blue kitchen faucet. We’re delighted to offer you this convenience.

Enjoy your meals in the adjacent dining area at the large teak dining table and chairs in a Scandinavian design. The large, comfortable sofa and the cosy leather recliner with ottoman—both offering a direct view of the canal—ensure a cosy atmosphere in every season. The large, swiveling 55-inch smart TV, a soundbar, and a selection of board games and books provide plenty of entertainment. Internet access is provided via fiber-optic Wi-Fi (we do not guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed).

You’ll enjoy a restful night’s sleep in the two bedrooms, both of which are equipped with comfortable box-spring beds featuring separate mattresses and full-length toppers from Swiss Sense (1 x 180 cm, 1 x 160 cm wide). Both bedrooms can be darkened with blackout pleated blinds. Each bedroom features a 32-inch TV. A solid-wood wardrobe in each bedroom provides ample space for your clothes and personal belongings.

Throughout the living-dining area and in the bedrooms, there are plenty of charging options for your electronic devices (outlets, USB ports (A & C)).

The bright, barrier-free bathroom with natural light—featuring a large walk-in shower, a shower toilet, a shower stool, a hair dryer, and a magnifying mirror—is the perfect place to truly relax and refresh.

The apartment stands out in every room with its floor-to-ceiling windows, which emphasise the bright and light-filled overall atmosphere. All windows and patio doors in every room are fully equipped with fly screens and pleated blinds (which also block out light in the bedrooms). High-quality tile flooring has been installed throughout the apartment, and all rooms feature radiant floor heating.

The separate storage room is equipped with a washing machine and a clothes dryer, as well as an iron and a drying rack.

The terrace is spacious and wraps around the entire apartment. From the main terrace, you can enjoy a direct view of the Siel. Take a seat here at the high-quality, large, extendable dining table with comfortable garden chairs. A Weber kettle grill with accessories is also available for a cosy evening of grilling. Take a seat in the high-quality teak chairs on the small, east-facing terrace. Enjoy the morning sun here with a cup of tea or coffee. You can sunbathe on the teak lounge chair. A large umbrella protects you from sunburn.

The small garden shed offers you the opportunity to securely store your bicycles and charge your e-bikes. The garden shed is available exclusively for your use. There is a private parking space for your car right in front of the house.

Access to the apartment, as well as the apartment itself, is designed to be senior-friendly and low-barrier (not fully accessible).

Smoking is not permitted in the apartment.

The accommodation “Kleine Auszeit 23,” “TiefBlick,” and “Zweite Heimat” are located in the same building; the houses “Wind in den Bäumen” and “Lieblingsplatz am Siel” are right next door.

Note:
The property borders the Siel on one side and a water canal on the other. It is not fenced in, and access to the water is not secured. (Young) children should not go into the garden unsupervised. Children, in particular, should be able to swim safely. We assume no liability for personal injury.

The apartment is located in a new development with a construction road, so unfortunately we cannot rule out occasional noise and dust disturbances.

You are welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be done during the booking process or at any time afterwards for a fee.
