Underfloor heating ensures a cosy atmosphere.
The very well-equipped kitchen, featuring an oven, a glass-ceramic cooktop, a dishwasher, a microwave, a Senseo coffee maker, a drip coffee maker, a toaster, a blender, an egg cooker, and much more, leaves nothing to be desired.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, a sink with a large mirror, and a toilet, as well as a sauna for 2 to 5 people. The washer-dryer has a 5 kg capacity, and a first-aid kit is provided for minor accidents. In the small utility room, you’ll also find an ironing board with an iron and a clothes drying rack.
The two spacious bedrooms are located on the upper floor. One bedroom with a double bed has direct access to the second bathroom, which features a floor-to-ceiling shower, toilet, and sink with a large mirror and a makeup mirror. Three windows provide natural light here.
You’ll find a hair dryer in each of the two bathrooms.
The second bedroom on the upper floor is furnished with a double bed and a single bed; the closet contains a shelf-style safe, and next to the single bed is a small TV with a DVD player.
Using the two bicycles provided by the house (one women’s and one men’s bike, both with luggage racks and handlebar baskets) and a children’s bike (ages 10–12; we assume no liability for the condition of any of the bikes), you can reach the picturesque fishing village of “Greetsiel” after four kilometres via paved bike paths. For barbecuing, you’ll find a kettle grill and accessories.
With the small boat, which is also included (may need to be shared with guests staying in the “Backbord” house; availability is limited to April through the end of October and not guaranteed), you can set off directly from your own dock on an exploration or fishing trip through the East Frisian canals and waterways. For children, a life jacket for 20–30 kg and one for 30–40 kg are available.
The garden furniture with cushions invites you to relax and unwind in the large, fully fenced-in garden (fenced off towards the water and, since 2025, towards the neighbouring property as well).
You’ll find 4 high-back chairs, 2 high-back chairs with reclining functions, and two sun loungers. In addition to a patio umbrella with a movable stand, you’ll also find a large cantilever umbrella. The terrace faces the sunny side and offers a beautiful view of the Siel. An ornamental cherry tree provides shade in the afternoon.
The house is equipped with a VDSL-50000 connection, allowing you to enjoy your own streaming services via the PlayStation. Free Wi-Fi (on-site registration required) is available (“We do not guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed”).
A high chair is also available in this non-smoking home. Board games, books, and DVDs for children and adults are available.
During the Easter and fall breaks, this accommodation is rented for a minimum of five nights with no fixed check-out day.
A lovely children’s playground and horseback riding opportunities are located nearby.

At the start of your stay, you’ll find consumables such as spices, 1 roll of paper towels, tea lights, toilet paper, facial tissues, dish soap, and dishwasher tabs in the house.
You’re welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be done during the booking process or at any time afterwards for a fee.
