"I was greeted by the most loveliest lady who gave me lots of suggestions of local places to go. The room was spotless and had everything you need for a short stay. Check-in and out was super easy.. location was close to the water but close to the shops too. Highly recommend!!"
"Room was clean... bed was ok as far as comfort. But this was really a "just the basics" room. I didn't think they made TVs that small anymore and the sound fluctuated from "what did he say?" to "OMG that's loud" all on its own. There is a $50 fee for not washing dishes but there is no sink, except the one in the bathroom."
"A lovely location on the Coromandel Peninsula, perfect for families in a safe resort park setting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with cooking facilities which will probably come in very handy as there is very little available in the "village" of Hahei itself in terms of cafe / restaurants particularly in the evening at end of season when we visited. Having said that, the General Store has a good range and a good cup of coffee can be had at a couple of places.
Facilities in the park are good for families with kids - and of course you are right on the beach. There are a number of attractions nearby such as Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove and Cooks Beach and a cute ferry across to Whitianga. A shuttle bus operates from a large car park in the village providing access to the attractions of Cathedral Cove."
"Beautiful view of beach just steps from patio (across the street). Kitchen very well stocked. Unit very spacious and in a great location to walk to shops, restaurants, wharf and ferry go day trips. Not sure if it was time of the year but unit felt damp all the time and slightly musty. Queen bed very comfortable but twin mattresses need replacing, soft and very saggy."
"A very cute little spot, We stayed on the upper level. There is no elevator , but it's not needed because it's just one set of stairs up to the balcony! The room was lovely, very cute duvet set and bigger than I had expected. Stayed for one night, perfect location for walking around the town centre! Would stay again!"
"Stayed at one of the ensuite cabims. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, shower water pressure was fantastic & facilities within the park were also excellent. Happy to recommend."
"Very basic and minimalist, but good for a short stay. The cabin is in a secluded spot surrounded by trees, a running stream, and bird calls - so it was great for nature lovers and stag gazing. This isn't an 'all-inclusive' type experience - coffee/tea/milk/shower soap is not supplied. We were impressed by the cleanliness. Suggest you bring along a blanket (we got cold in the night - the duvet and blankets provided are quite thin) and perhaps a pack of cards/portable speaker. The cabin did the job for us, but you could probably get better value for money closer to town."
