We’ve stayed at the Kudarah island for 10 night May 2024 and had an outstanding vacation. The personal was so kind, all the food was perfect, the diving options are amazing, plus the beach villa with private front pool was so great.

We have just returned from an amazing holiday on Amaya Kuda Rah and are already missing the resort!! All the staff and mangers were welcoming, attentive and very friendly. A special shoutout to Imam, Akbaar, Mangu, Nazeer and all the chefs; they all went above and beyond to look after us! The island is absolutely beautiful and there is so much to see in the ocean around the island, definitely visit the guys in the dive centre! The island is really well kept and well managed. If your looking for a relaxing holiday then it’s the perfect place however don’t forgot to bring mosquito spray and bite cream!

Pleasant Stay

Overall was very good particularly the customer service was extremely good. Hotel management team was very present & approachable. However we were all expecting air conditioning throughout in the water villa especially it’s an enclosed bathroom. There was no AC nor fan in the bathroom and was recommended not to open the door in between the bedroom & bathroom which caused condensation. We tried but the heat/humidity made it hard to do whatever for a minute or 2 without sweating. This was very disappointing for 4.5* resort. Food was ok, plenty to choose from and will not go hungry. We were AI and drinks were included which were very good. The Chefs even provided us with custom made fish dishes which were very delicious. My friends did the fishing excursion but the Maldivian style was not for anyone but there weren’t any fishing rods as another option. We didn’t do any of the free excursions as weather wasn’t on our side. We stayed on the water villa and there were many fishes around for snorkeling but be aware that the bottom of the water was very rocky so water shoes are the must. Chanaka, the Guest Experience Manager was very helpful and made sure all guests enjoying their time on the island & leaving there with a big smile. It was a pleasant stay with few minor hiccups. Thank you for taking care of us.

My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon at the Amaya Kuda Rah. We had an amazing experience. The staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. We appreciated the boutique resort feel. There was one restaurant with very attentive staff. Meals were often in a buffet style but we noticed that the best offerings were from nights offering limited menu items.

First of all would like to thank everyone at Amaya kuda rah resort for such a pleasurable stay from check in all through to check out! The staff are delightful and cheery, and the resort is breath taking. The restaurant and pool bar are amazing, and the staff are wonderful help. A special thank you to Bayzid for such special decorations in the room that are magnificent! ➕Ce que nous avons aimé , c’est la chambre et la piscine privé dans la salle de bain , la grandeur du lit . ➕L’équipe Sympa du diving center, le capitaine du bateau. ➕le repas surprise, à l’heure du dîner. Avec des produits de la mer ; très bon. ➖Ce qui ne nous a pas plu du tout , c’est la vaporisation à la même heure , de l’insecticide, très toxique qui se dépose dans les lieux publiques, le bar et la piscine .... de plus c’est hyper toxique, il y a la faune environnante, les libellules les petites poules sauvage et leurs poussins, les hérons et autres oiseaux qui subissent ces gaz et nous les humains . Et enfin dans l’eau, des morceaux de grillages et bétons d’une ancienne construction peu être gisent au abord d’amya., des canettes aussi

Lovely resort

The resort is amazing and very suitable for a romantic getaway. A small island but snorkeling around is very beautiful. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good. Would love to visit again in the future.

That the Maldives is fantastic goes without saying but this Place is fantastic. The staff is amazing and food fantastic. Even if snorkeling The house reef gives enough entertainment with turtles, reef Sharks the diving centre gives an extra oppotrunity to sealife experience.

Jour de l'An au soleil

Le cadre intimiste ainsi que le professionnalisme du staff invite à une détente totale. Toutefois en raison du courant qui peut être fort je vous déconseille de vous aventurer derrière les barrières si vous n’êtes pas à l’aise dans l’eau. La météo était assez changeante durant notre séjour mais le confort de la chambre et la qualité de la restauration font oublier les nuages. Ma compagne a particulièrement apprécié la décoration de lit accompagnée d’un gâteau le soir de mon anniversaire, merci au Directeur, au Chef cuisinier ainsi qu’à Ahmed notre room boy. Admirer les feux d’artifice sur l’île en face depuis notre piscine privée à minuit sonné au passage de la nouvelle année restera un moment magique.

We couldn’t have better things to say about this resort. If you are considering it - book it now! It will be the trip of a lifetime. The photos really don’t do justice to the beauty of this island and something that doesn’t translate in photos is the level of service. Even though the island had many other guests, you are treated and feel like you are the only one there. The island is quiet and small (a real advantage for getting around). It has an intimate and tranquil feeling. Let’s talk about the world class service- from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, they treated us like royalty. We were immediately greeted at the airport, guided to our sea plane and then greeted by the lovely staff, including Eve, aboard the boat. Once arriving at the reception area, we were given a welcome drink, told about everything we needed to know and then whisked off to our gorgeous water bungalow. Book the bungalow, it’s amazing! During our stay we did many excursions, which were fantastic. We took out jetskis with Ira, which was just fantastic. We went diving a few times with Mirko and Suna and even saw a whale shark. We also received massages at the spa, which was delightful. The staff on the island is wonderful. Feny and Misal in the food services were incredible. Akbar and Angel at the Glow Bar were awesome and our roomboy, Ahmed, did sweet things like leaving us towel animals for our return. This is an amazing resort. Trip of a lifetime!!

Very nice stay

Great place. Pretty good buffet, Great private pool water villa overlooking shallow lagoon and ocean. Some staff were very good, but some seemed to be really pushing for a tip and others very difficult to understand. They call it a smoke free resort, but were offered an ash tray when we first sat down. People in restaurant were smoking. Mandatory Xmas eve gala was very disappointing, relative to the almost USD 300 they charged us OVER the all inclusive fee
