"I spent two days at this hotel in Port Clinton, Ohio, and it was one of the best hotel stays I've had in a long time. The room was spotless, with beautiful water views and wildlife. Breakfast was very good as well. What truly stood out was Holly. She went above and beyond her duties and made my stay extra special with her kindness and care. "We took our honeymoon at Middle Bass Island in the Hazards. This was both our 1st time on the island. We learned alot about the history of the island, winery, wetlands & was able to go hiking on some of the trails they have here. Our hosts Michelle & Brian our amazing folks. They did amazing job on there Surf Shack. We didnt have NO issue at all. We needed an extra blanket & both of them came over with it. Michelle & Brian our very friendly, helpful warm & caring. I highly recommend the Surf Shack. U wont be disappointed. "
