"Overall room was clean. The bathtub had some ugly discoloration and the microwave had not been wiped clean after last use. I felt safe and the room was comfortable. Staff were nice but not overly friendly."

The pool area was one of the cleanest, well kept I’ve been at in a long time. The water was warm. The hot tub was huge! Everything felt very well maintained and updated. The room was clean and comfortable. The public areas also."

"This was perhaps the most successful VRBO rental we have made. The house is beautiful-- well appointed and impeccably decorated. In an area where "nice" short term stays are hard to come by, this was a very pleasant surprise. Situated on a quiet street in a very small town, the vibe was totally relaxing. If you stay in Fertile, don't miss a dinner at Cafe Mir. In a land of low expectations for restaurant dining, Mir was a gem. This will be our go to for trips back to Iowa for family visits. Highly recommended!"

"This was the best VRBO we have ever stayed in. It was perfect for us and our 4 kids. They had a blast in the huge loft and yard. There were so many thoughtful touches here.The host was good to work with, we had an issue come up that was my fault and she handled it with kindness. Can't say enough good things about this place."
