"We had a great stay one-night stay at the Gilleleje Badehotel just outside of the high season. Everything about the property feels premium. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. "Beautiful scenery. Hotel A bit run down. No fridge or safe box in the room. Our room was on the top floor with a spiral staircase and although a staff member helped carry the suitcase up there was no one to bring it down for us. My 12 year old daughter and I had to carry 2 heavy suitcases down the stairs ourselves. "

The description said their bar was open until later, but we were told it was unavailable when we checked in. Our room was in the basement of a dusty inn with ill kept carpets, and the shared bathroom had mildew in the grout tiles. The shared kitchen had very noticeable stains on the appliances. We felt uncomfortable and slightly unwelcome. "
