"We planned a weekend trip to Puerto Galera, leaving Manila on Thursday afternoon and stop in Batangas City. Alpa Hotel offered a good stay before taking the boat the next day morning to Puerto Galera. There is a restaurant, although the food was nothing special. I do recommend to try a Filipino cuisine dish. The hotel provides a shuttle to the pier."

The food was not spectacular and not commensurate with the price. There is also not much to see with the price tag. All activities are additional costs.
