"Nice country hotel. Very pleased that hotel has room service as a standart and not on request like some hotels in Scandinavia and calling it ecological. Pleasant stay and very nice and friendly staff. Thanks for having me🤗🙏"
"One of my favourite hotels of anywhere I’ve travelled. A superb style all of its own and very relaxing atmosphere. Food is excellent and based right on the picturesque town square. You’ll love it!"
"Beautiful location. Room was nice, bathroom basic but clean. No reception or staff so be sure you’re okay with self checking in/out.
All in all good value for money."

"Hotell Gastis was so quirky with so many books and artefacts. Our room was very small but perfectly adequate. We hired bikes and visited a small nature reserve. We also went in the Leninbadet which was an amazing experience, even with the steam room not working. It was like going back in time and we loved it.
There were major building works going on outside the hotel but we couldn’t hear anything even though our room overlooked them.
The roof terrace was lovely and we sat there with a post dinner drink!
Drinks were expensive and we didn’t eat there in the evening, but the breakfast was really good and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay"
"I was distressed when I learned that the street in front was torn up for reconstruction, but s it turned out that wasn't any problem at all. The property itself is charming with a lovely 19th century feel, like visiting your aunt in the old family home if she happened to love to keep things all clean and polished. It's just a few steps to parks and ice cream spots and swimming, but not noisy at all at night. And it's also just a few steps from the railiroad station. Breakfast is at a cafe a few blocks away. That ight be a problem in cold rainy weather, but in August was fine, and the breakfasts were very nice. Happy I stayed there."
"Super fin stuga! bra med sovplatser och allt nödvändigt i köket och typ 7 minuter till Gekås med bil. Vacker natur lugnt och skönt, bra med parkering. Finns absolut inget dåligt att säga om detta otroliga ställe! "
"We loved the room but it was incredibly hot, despite having the huge window opened up we couldn’t get the temperature down. Unfortunately there were no fans made available.
The kitchen isn’t very well equipped. It has a few bowls, plates and cutlery etc but just a microwave but nothing to cook in or with. I’m not sure what kind of cooking they envisioned you doing. Large double sink, large work/drainage are. Yet little in the way of cooking.
The bathroom was very good, large wet room style.
There is a supermarket on the opposite side of the road, unfortunately this closes early on a Saturday 3pm and closed on a Sunday.
Breakfast was cold meats, orange juice, yogurt etc. nicely presented in a basket in the fridge but no sugar for tea or coffee. "
