Looking for a peaceful getaway to the beach? Welcome to Haven by the Sea! You will love the look and feel of this oceanfront condo. Relax on your oceanfront deck overlooking the ocean. The beach access walkway is adjacent to the building, just a few steps away. We have a large living room with a wall of glass sliders looking out onto the ocean, the vaulted ceiling provides a wonderful feeling of openness. We have a large Smart TV and plenty of comfy seating. The main level open floor plan also has a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of counter space and dining area with a large table and chairs. The primary bedroom includes a king-size bed and Smart TV. The master bathroom has a wonderful glass shower with multiple spray heads!

Upstairs is a loft area with a queen size bed, desk, closet and armoire, and a full bathroom with stall shower. Parking is easy, you have two assigned covered spaces directly under the condo. In the carport we also have a wooden storage bin for your beach gear and plenty of room if you decide to bring your bikes or rent a golf cart. The beach access has an outdoor shower to rinse off and at the end of the parking lot is a charcoal grill you can use.

The beach in front of the condo is a nice white sandy beach and the Kure Beach pier is a leisurely 20-minute walk away. The condo is in the Ocean Dunes complex which includes a Rec Center with an indoor heated pool, gym, whirlpool sauna, basketball court, shuffleboard, tennis and it's open year round! In the summer we also have access to three outdoor pools, the closest is a two-minute walk away.

Enjoy Kure Beach, North Carolina! Old time family beach charm with a laid back island lifestyle. We are located on a private stretch of beach and it will be so relaxing you won't want to leave. Hearing the sounds of the waves from your bedroom will make it so easy to fall asleep and get a little relaxation!

Ocean Dunes is located toward the end of the island in a quiet area yet only 1.5 miles from the Kure Beach Pier and Boardwalk. You'll feel like you're on a private island, nestled among the live oaks. Right across the street is the Fort Fisher Civil War museum and battleground - a great place to visit for some local history. And don't forget to visit the NC Aquarium while you're there and meet Luna, the albino alligator, or ride the ferry over to Southport for a fun day of shopping.

Ocean Dunes HOA manages the pools and rec center. We are not responsible if they are closed, nor does this qualify you for a discount/refund.

The unit is lovely, quiet and well-appointed with everything you need for a comfortable vacation (even good books!). And the setting, right on the Atlantic Ocean, is incredibly beautiful and peaceful.

We had three issues that A1 promptly took care of. Toilet tank quit filling, repaired that day. A/C quit cooling, repaired that same day. Ice maker in fridge wasn’t working. David( property manager?) offered to bring bags of ice when it was determined ice maker couldn’t be repaired. We came back later in the day to find a counter top ice maker was brought in!! Now that’s customer service! Kudos to Kayla in the office, David and a few others for their professionalism. Everyone at A1 was very friendly, professional and focused on our satisfaction. Ocean Dunes 1603 is a beautiful unit with the upstairs loft with 2nd bathroom. The spiral stairs can be a little scary but we had no issues going up or down. We will rent again from A1 Property Management! And have decided to rent 1603 again this year if possible. We love how quiet it was at this particular building. Great job A1! We will recommend you guys and can’t wait to come back!!

We’ve been coming here for years. Gorgeous beach, quiet and never crowded. Super convenient to Carolina Beach, Southport and Wilmington. The condo feels like home and worries melt away as you cross the threshold. We will return again and again.

Beautiful Ocean Dunes property

David of A1 Property Management has a beautiful condo right at the beach! We loved staying here, plenty of space for the two of us and within 5 minutes of the aquarium at Fort Fisher. Fort Fisher itself is undergoing a remodel so we couldn't visit this year. I highly recommend this place.Thank you A1 for a wonderful vacation!

Unplanned Vacation
