"We had a wonderful room at Hotel Cocoa - it was really spacious and had an incredible view overlooking Lake Toya. Although the hotel was having some renovation work done, this didn't affect us in any way and the stay was peaceful and quiet. It was fantastic to wake up and be able to see the whole of the lake - it was an instant weather forecast! There was a jacuzzi bath in the room too which was lovely after a day sightseeing. There is not a daily cleaning service but you do get clean towels every day and can ask for anything else that you need. Parking was right outside the hotel entrance. The location is fantastic but you do need a car to really benefit from staying here as it is a ten minute drive into town."

"Very convenient location between the rain station and the main attraction street. Very cozy cute hotel. The bathroom was super small though. Breakfast buffet was pretty good and well organised, online waiting room really helped. Per my understanding parking is limited, but we did not have a car. View of the canal was nice. Onsen was pretty small, but at least not that crowded. No sauna and both baths were pretty hot. Other than that, I would stay there again. "

"We stayed 3 nights in Ki Niseko Hotel in a mini one bedroom apartment with a view of Mount Yotei this summer. The hotel was in a great location, walkable to restaurants in town and opposite our favourite town coffee shop in Rhythms where they made great coffee, fresh smoothies and veggie sausage rolls! We enjoyed the hotel and the space and amenities in the room, but found the town during the early summer months too quiet, with minimal restaurants, shops, bars and cafes open which was such a shame as the countryside around was beautiful. Ski lifts weren’t open yet so we couldn’t use them to walk in the hills and mountains surrounding the resort. We noticed the summer season starts July 19th so I imagine after then more would be open. The area is positioned well for hiking and exploring, you will definitely need a car. The hotel has a nice onsite restaurant which we ate in once and enjoyed the food (minimal vegetarian options however). Breakfast was ok, a little limited in Western options. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a good hotel and would recommend if staying in the area for a short break. "
