"Was slightly outside the main tourist area but close to zoo and main shopping area. There was a great restaurant complex in an old wine factory opposite. Taxis are affordable and you can walk. Staff were so helpful and kind. We arrived at 5am and they were ready to greet us and got us to our room quickly. Room was spacious and comfortable. Best bit was the spa. It was so well appointed with a roof top pool and a whole range of different steam rooms, saunas and tepidariums. Has a massage room which was relaxing. There was a still some work going on at the hotel but the noise didnβt affect is. Took a stat off as the lifts were really slow and one was out of order for most of the trip."

"Location was very central and convenient. Close to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel is a bit dated but fairly well maintained. The room was very spacious and super clean. Bed and bedlinen were absolutely luxurious. We had a room on a high floor and the views were incredible! The views from the pool, sauna and the gym are absolutely amazing!!! Unfortunately, the steam room in the ladies spa didn't seem to work and was a bit smelly inside. Few times there was no water in the water cooler in front of the sauna, which was a bit disappointing for a 5 star hotel. I could see a lady cleaning around but for some reason some of the loungers didn't seem to have been cleaned. There was a bill left on a table by the loungers in the pool, which was left there for 2-3days, which makes you wonder if the area is been cleaned? Overall, enjoyed our stay but it wasn't quite the 5 star standard you would expect."

"Rooms were clean, though the shower drainage was slow. No minibar. Some rooms have hygiene shower for wc, others dont. Balconies stay behind facade, only good for smoking. Nice outdoor siting in front of the hotel."
