Great location. A short walk just outside Kyoto Station. Clean,safe hotel with excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. 711 convenience store in the 1st floor as well. Many Kyoto excursions depart just opposite to the hotel. Short walk to Aeon mall. You would need a very short bus ride from Kyoto station to get to the Gion district. Totally recommended.

Hotel is at a good location, a very short walk from the Shinkansen, JR Train and subway station that connect all places. As for the hotel itself; even though room may seem small, it has everithing you need. Be openminded that there are no king size beds but one can join the two beds together. Breakfast buffete is ok and for other meals there a lots of places to eat nearby (the train station has great restaurants), if you only need a sandwitch or so, there is a conviniance store right beside the hotel.

Lovely stay at this hotel. Conveniently located about three minutes from the Kyoto station. Of course, three minutes can turn into 30 minutes if you get swallowed up by that train station! The hotel is lovely. Rooms are crisp and clean. They provide an excellent breakfast catering to both Japanese and western tastes. One thing to note is you might want to look at the room selection and see if you can get a room either on the backside or the side of the hotel so you’re not facing the train station which tends to be a little bit noisy.
