Gion Dinosaur is a newly restored house situation in the heart of Gion in Kyoto. Its unusual name come from the big bathroom mural which is as unique as inviting for families!
The ground floor is a bright, open space with a modern kitchen with dark and stylish furniture. Right next to it is a small Japanese tatami room, where you can lay down a futon or relax while enjoying family life and conversation. The living-room is an open-view to the small garden.
On to the right, you will find a western-style bedroom with a queen-size bed and an elegant antique to sit at and write about your adventures in Japan.
Among these nice aspects, the bathroom is most probably the top-one feature! A big dinosaur mural covers the entirety of one wall. Can you name them all in Japanese?
A big bubble-bath will help you relax after a long day of visiting the city.
The second floor is available for groups of five guests and more. It features another kitchen and washing machine, a restroom with a separated shower, which means no lining up to wash yourself up in the morning! The 2F also includes a sofa bed and two futon sets, as well as a projector for movie nights after long walks in Kyoto!
