Best of the best Hotel I’ve ever stayed in!!! This trip was my honeymoon, and the hotel congratulated me by providing a special welcome card and room upgrade. I was very impressed, and if I visit Kyoto again, I will of course stay at the Kyoto Century Hotel.

Stayed with my wife and 2 kids - Had an amazing time, close to train station and very clean. Excellent service. Not sure why its not a 5 star hotel but it should be!

Being right next to the Kyoto train station is great both for Kyoto sightseeing etc and also quick access to Osaka. Beware, you will need a filing cabinet at check in as the hotel handed us 15 pieces of paper for breakfast coupons etc. Interestingly three of them were “soft drink coupons” but that’s not really much of a perk for being an Expedia VIP and soft drinks being free at breakfast and not spending much time at the hotel other than breakfast (nice buffet) or sleeping.

Once you figured out how to get the hotel from the Kyoto station, everything gets convenient:) The room is small for two people with two carry on luggage, not matching the beds, which are quite comfortable and cozy though.

Extremely dirty under the beds. Looks like never was cleaned there. Lots of dust in the air because of that. The cost of the lunch and especially of the dinner buffet is gigantic!!!

Room was very comfortable and well-appointed. The location was excellent...next to Kyoto Station and the city bus terminal. The hotel staff are extremely professional and courteous. Overall, we had an excellent stay. We would stay at the Century Hotel again.

It's very close from Kyoto station and lots of dining options nearby. The room was smaller than what I saw from Orbitz. It looked like an upscale hotel, but I noticed that the bath amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were made in China, which was very disappointing. I developed some skin rashes which went away in a couple of days.
