It was a nice little Place for what I needed. I spent most of the time traveling around but it was good for a place to sleep and shower. The breakfast was good early in the morning and they do offer Dinner too but I did not take advantage because of the good food in Japan.

Awesome price but very very strict, checking in a few mins before the official time, no, a bit over checkout they charge you. But tha said, price is so good that that makes sense.

Pros: Rooms were clean, daily breakfast and dinner is good, lawson’s is right beside the hotel, many restaurants nearby, staff were very sweet and helpful, Kyoto Station isn’t too far, public bath, and it’s a quieter neighborhood. Cons: Check out is 10am but Check in is at 4pm, hotel is older with many rooms but the map isn’t clean so it’s hard finding your room at first, coin laundry machines but they were pretty dirty with dirt stuck on the sides like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, the dryer didn’t even dry my clothes(2 pants) so it felt like a waste of money, not many amenities. Some things to keep in mind: In case you want to do early check in, they charge more before 1pm and after 1pm they charge 30% of current room prices, same with late check out. You have to book dinner beforehand.

Just a heads up about the parking: It’s 1,980 yen from 4 PM to 10 AM with the hotel discount. Be careful, because if you park before 4 PM, you'll be charged an extra fee!

The biggest inconvenience is that most of the hotels and places in Japan don’t have people that speak English fluently so communicating with them is very difficult.

一泊2食付きで京都駅からも徒歩圏内で格安に泊まれて良かったです。 夕食は日替わり生姜焼きは岡山の系列ホテルでいただいたのと全く一緒でした。学生さんらしき方も多かったですが、修学旅行とかならちょっとかわいそうかなぁと老婆心で思いました。 男女別大浴場も良かったです。

三連休を前に以前の倍以上の宿泊代ではあったが、同時期の京都市内のホテルに比べれば、朝夕２食付きで格安である。地下鉄南北線九条駅からも徒歩圏内であり、市内や奈良方面に行くのにもとても便利な立地である。JR京都駅八条口から歩いてもそれほど苦にならない距離である。京都には大学のスクーリングで毎月のように訪問しているが、ほぼ定宿にしている。貸出用のアイロンさえあれば、申し分ない。
