Exquisitely beautiful and elegant hotel in a prime location in central Kyoto next to the local market and shops. 2 metro stops away from Kyoto station where you can catch the Shinkansen to Tokyo or Osaka. The staff are incredibly lovely, they are the most polite people and want to help with everything. They safely stored our bags before and after our stay so we could maximise exploring Kyoto. The hotel is presented very well with a classic modern Japanese feel. The room was very spacious with lots to offer and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The free croissants every morning and the amenities were also fantastic. 10/10.

The hotel is in a central location for sites and restaurants, on a quiet side street. I stayed in a tatami room and it was very comfortable, clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The staff are very nice and helpful. I enjoyed the croissants provided in the mornings and the nespresso coffee was good as well. Laundry on site was very convenient. I would definitely go back.

Location is great, close to lots of restaurants and Nishiki market. Close to the city bus and metro, too. Staff was super nice and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay has been pleasant. The staffs' English proficiency is quite well, at least we are able to communicate well. The environment is very good, quiet and clean. It's located in an area nearing a lot of famous restaurants and shops. The room is also quite big for such a price. I would love to stay here again if I visit Kyoto next time.

Out of our entire 2-week trip around Japan, this was the best hotel we stayed in. The hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Additional amenities like morning croissants and free access to laundry facilities were a great bonus. As this was our honeymoon trip, they welcomed us with a small bottle of carver which was very nice. The area is also very quiet whilst being near key areas such as Nishiki market. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto!
