Maybe the best shower I've used anywhere. Breakfast was very reasonable, one hot egg dish plus breads, salad, fruit and yogurt and drinks buffet. Western food in the restaurant, fun music and atmosphere throughout. Beds were comfy, best hotel of our trip.

This hotel was truly amazing. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the temple. The food was outstanding, and our room was spacious and very comfortable. This is my third time staying in the hotel, I like the design and every detail the owner put into the room. The stuffs were nice, great location. The only thing this time was I didn’t get a room upgrade as I wished for a king bed. The food was delicious and my favourite is the bar on the roof, such a wonderful vibe there

This hotel has been a real highlight on our holiday to Hong Kong and Japan. It is a beautifully designed hotel from the entry with onsite cafe and bakery, to the dining and roof top areas and within the rooms themselves. The rooms are spacious with contemporary fit out and finishes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. From a location perspective it is a 10 minute taxi ride from Kyoto station but well placed to walk to Kiyomizu-Dera temple - A must visit on any trip to Kyoto.
