My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Royal Twin Hotel Kyoto Hachijoguchi. The location is just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was clean and roomy. The onsen was a delightful experience. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant one evening, and it was excellent with reasonable prices. I highly recommend staying here while traveling!

Excellent hotel, the customer service is great and my room was very clean and quiet and beautiful. The location is very convenient also, literally just down the street from Kyoto Station. The area around the hotel was pretty chill, in spite of how close to the station it is. They have an onsen bath on the property. Like most onsens, tattoos are not allowed unless it’s something small you can cover up with a sticker.

Super convenient location, so close to the bus stop straight from KIX airport and Kyoto station. The room itself is also very clean, super compact with everything you need. There are 5 laundry machine (surprised not too many people use them) so if you choose this hotel, I would only pack 3-4 days clothes… In the lobby, there are 4 checkout machines that you can also exchange bills and coins, everything is super convenient. Thank you!
