My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Shizutetsu Hotel in Kyoto, and to be honest, it was one of our most favorite stays in Japan. We appreciate the care that the hotel has for its guests comfort, best example was the massage chair and the feet massager. We recommend staying at this hotel 100%

This hotel had the largest room on a budget!! I really enjoyed this hotel with the massage chair and leg especially after a day of walking in Japan. They held our luggage after checking out, which was great for us to keep exploring. The room's AC was always on which is great after a Summer day!

We stayed 5 nights. Like most of the hotels these days, you are provided with self check-in terminals. The staff assist if you are not able to navigate your way through the process. Our room was clean and the facilities met our needs. We were able to walk to most of the points of interest in Kyoto. There is a subway rail & bus stop close to the hotel. We would certainly rebook if returning to Kyoto.

Great stay in Kyoto !

Great stay in Kyoto within walking distance of the main areas of the city center. The room is big, the bathroom great, the beds are confortable, the tv huge. The laundromat available on 1st floor is also a great addition. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel !

We had a lovely stay here. Very convenient and easy to walk to the main shopping district and sites. The room was nice and very clean. It was a better size room than APA but still quite tight for 2 persons with luggage. The coffee machine downstairs was also a nice touch. We also appreciated the bottles of water. We would happily stay here again.
