The location was wonderful, the hotel was very clean. The rooms are smaller than we are used to in the United States. I don’t think it was worth getting the breakfast included as it wasn’t very good. They have western and Japanese but not very good at all. If I went back, I would not pay for the breakfast.

Our stay here was fantastic. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Good variety of amenities and things travellers could borrow. We got the breakfast included and it had a great selection of both western and Japanese items. Rooms were great and beds comfortable after long hot days. Very close to Kyoto station and major bus routes, including the airport limo bus. I highly recommend staying here.

I ended up getting the breakfast with my booking and the food was really awesome. They had quite a bit of variety. They also had maccha lattes that you could get for breakfast, which I got every time!

Everything about our stay was great, and the hotel was extremely convenient. The staff were very helpful and welcoming, and the property was clean and well maintained. One suggestion, especially from a vegetarian traveler’s perspective, would be to offer a few more healthy vegetarian options at breakfast. Finding a good vegetarian breakfast in Japan can sometimes be challenging, particularly for travelers who have an early start, as many restaurants and cafés open later in the morning. Japan is also seeing an increasing number of international visitors with vegetarian and other dietary preferences, so having a few clearly identified vegetarian choices at the hotel would be a wonderful added convenience. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and really appreciated the location, cleanliness, and helpful staff. Thank you!
