"The location to the main areas of attraction and the metro was excellent. The desk staff and housekeepers were efficient, polite, and professional. We arrived early, but there was a room available, so we were able to settle in at that time. We booked a king bed without kitchen; we got a double queen with kitchen. That was fine with us. The room was a bit outdated but clean; the shower had some mold but not a deal breaker. The room was located near the front desk, elevator, and stairs, so it was a bit noisy at times, however, we were out most of the day. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and the food was delicious. There aren’t many dine-in restaurants within a half mile walk of the hotel. Circa, near the Foggy Bottom metro, was excellent. We would stay the hotel again."

"Great staff. Always friendly and accommodating. Very nice lobby and public areas. Was able to check-in early. We had minor issues and they were attended to promptly. Never had a hotel react so quickly before. Breakfast was excellent. We used the breakfast area for carry-in dinner several evenings. Pull out bed was not comfortable though; we used an air mattress we brought with us. Overall would highly recommend."

"The front desk staff, along with the very casual dining and breakfast on the third floor was excellent. The roof top dining and bar that was also casual, service was terrible. When we got off the elevator a person leaving said good luck trying to get a drink. They were right, after 15 minutes of not being able to get a meal order in at the bar, we left. We had 2 dinners from the 3rd floor restaurant, the second night dinner was good food from plastic containers in our room because they had an event. We walked 7 miles total from the hotel taking in 2 monuments and two National Museums that were great. Parking around town seemed challenging and expensive, so we left the car at the hotel at $55 per night. Having one of the 3 elevator out, added to wait times and packed elevators. Restaurants a mile away along the river may of been a better option? The Washington attraction area’s have greatly improved over the past year and are very clean and safe."
