"Charming little cottage in serene location but also conveniently located close to shops in nearby villages. The cottage itself is cozy, perfect for 2 people with everything one needs to prepare quick and easy meals. The exterior grounds and garden are inviting and very relaxing. A great little piece of Provence! The hostess, Waleria, is very attentive and responsive to inquiries and very pleasant as well. A great stay - would return!"

Nous avons aussi apprécié la literie et la salle de bain incluse dans chaque chambre. Maison et piscine sans vis-à-vis au calme. Donc repos absolu. Nous reviendrons très prochainement. "I checked this morning, and the property is still shown as being in Vaison La Romaine, still claims to be a short walk from the sights of Vaison, and the map show this to be the case. However, this is a total LIE. The house is in Saint Maurice sur Eygues, which is more than 15mins from Vaision by Car. The owner was quick to offer us 100 euros (so he obviously knew) but this didn't cover the cost of us staying in Vaison for two nights to spend time with the friends we were supposed to meet there....

"The property was clean and tidy, with a lovely outdoor terrace. The pool was a welcome relief from the scorching temperatures, and after a hot day sightseeing it was lovely to take a refreshing dip. The gite is located an easy 10 minute amble into Vaison - a bustling market town with all the facilities one could need. There are some quirks - there is only one loo, which is downstairs whilst the shower room is upstairs. There is also no wash hand basin in the loo. Also, the VRBO listing states...

"A family from Denmark - 4 persons - have had a fantastic week in Saint Marcel - a nice village with nice people and butcher, baker, restaurants and bars. Sorroundings in Provence was beautiful. In a radius of 50 km you have everything. We will be back."

"nous nous sommes bien baladés, notre séjour passe aussi par de bonnes nuits, ce qui n'est pas le cas ici, il faudrait dire que les chambres avec de vieilles fenêtres donnent sur la route principale avec deux plaques d'égouts qui bougent à chaque passage de voitures. Pas d'accueil, ni à l'arrivée ni au départ, Aucune explication sur la maison pour savoir quelque chose il fallait appeler ex: le code wifi, et télé qui ne marchait pas. les extérieurs n'étaient pas propres, un coup de balai aurait...

" The property is in an excellent location in a very quiet area on the edge of the town but still only a 15 minute stroll to the centre. Vaison is lovely with lots of restaurants (Fred’s Bistro is excellent) and a great weekly market. We had a warm welcome from Michel and his wife and had 3 great weeks in the accommodation There are miles of walks along quiet roads lined with grape vines All in all a great place to stay"

"Nous avons eu un super séjour dans cette location moderne, neuve, arrangée avec goût, les deux terrasses permettent de profiter du soleil d'entre saison, la vue sur le mont Ventoux et la provence. La piscine est un gros plus et à cette saison la température de 30 degrés est parfaite. Grand parking sécurisé et voisinage très calme. Nous reviendrions volontiers. A recommander"

"We stayed in the property as a group of four friends on a cycling trip. The property was perfect for us, close to the centre of Malaucene which is a nice town with good restaurants and bars. The host was really helpful and friendly. We hired bikes in the town and it was a great base for our trip."

"We had a wonderful week staying in this beautiful place. Mr and Mrs Guichard were so welcoming, friendly and helpful and the house was utterly charming and well equipped with everything we needed. The view from the private terrace especially was stunning, and the tree shaded garden area with its garage for our car was greatly appreciated in the heatwave. We found some lovely evening walks among the surrounding vineyards and the nearby boulangerie was just great. An idyllic peaceful setting and...

"We would have given five stars for this beautiful apartment but we found the lack of Information very stressful. We couldn't find out how to access the key and communication was very fraught. The website check in time was 4 but Marilyne eventually said 12 which was impossible because of our flight time. However, getting in was fine in the end and Marilyne was very friendly. We'd very much like to return to her well-equipped and attractively furnished property."
