About this property

Superb beachfront home! Super large flowery garden direct to the beach

  • This 165 m2 single-storey house sleeps 8, including 2 bunk beds, in the heart of an enclosed garden with flowers and trees covering 3,000 m², providing plenty of sunny and shady areas for family meals, sunbathing and playing, and where you can park as many vehicles as you need.

    It is close to shops (bakery, butcher's, mini-market, etc.) and a market in high season and during school holidays.

    It overlooks a discreet beach, popular with families and surfers alike, with uninterrupted views of the Ile de Ré, Fort Boyard and the Ile d'Aix. It's just a stone's throw from the cycle paths that lead to the island's magnificent beaches (Huttes, Saumonards) and the Saint-Denis marina, which offers a sea link with La Rochelle and a host of water sports (catamaran, jet-ski, windsurfing).

    We can give you details of a nearby bike hire service. Our house is ideally located so you can get around on foot or by two-wheeler in complete tranquillity.

    A large barn in the garden can be used to store your bikes, surfboards, windsurf boards, etc.

    The house has 4 bedrooms:
    - 2 with one double bed 140 X 190 cm and one 160x200 cm ;
    - 1 with 2 single beds ;
    - 1 with 1 double bunk bed and 1 single bed.

    It also includes:
    - 2 lounges, 1 with a 1-seater sofa bed and the other with a fireplace and widescreen television with DVD/blueray player;
    - 2 shower rooms, both with walk-in showers - accessible both through bedrooms;
    - 1 fully-equipped open-plan kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso, coffee machine, food processor, toaster, kettle, etc.) opening onto
    - 1 fully-equipped veranda with a large dining table and winter lounge;
    - 2 WCs;
    - 1 laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.

    - The house has WIFI and fibre.
    - Garden furniture, wood for the fireplace and a barbecue are available.

    - Small pets are allowed in the accommodation.

    Additional cleaning cost after your stay applies: 120€
    - Please leave the accommodation in reasonable condition and clean kitchen material and appliances.
    Thanks to leave all towels ready to wash.

A wonderful holiday home with fantastic jasmine-scented garden and direct access to the beautiful beach - ideal for anyone with limited mobility who loves the seaside. Well-equipped, most helpful owner, a delight all round.
