Gîte, close to Hautecombe Abbey, Lac du Bourget

Comfortable gîte situated in a hamlet overlooking lake Bourget. The gîte is within easy reach of the Hautecombe Abbey, which contains the tombs of many illustrious Counts of Savoy as well as the last kings and queens of Italy.

A few minutes walk from the gîte, the restaurant at the ‘Belvedère de Grumeau’ will provide refreshments accompanied by magnificent views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Walkers will enjoy the numerous hiking trails. Cyclists have the ‘Tour du lac Bourget’ which passes right by the village and climbers can scale the ‘Via Ferrata du Cornillon’ and marvel at the views from the Col-du-Chat.

From boat and bike hire, sailing courses and skydiving to a leisurely boat trip discovering the Canal de Savière, Lac du Bourget and the Rhône.

For wine enthusiasts; close by are the vineyards and wineries of Marestel, Jongieux, Monthoux and Chautagne.

Villages and towns; the ports, beaches and restaurants of Conjux, Chanaz, Bourget-du-Lac and Chindrieux are about ten to fifteen minutes by car. Chambéry, the capital of Savoie and the spa town of Aix-les-Bains are both easily accessible.

A little further; the winter sport stations of ‘Savoie Grand Revard’ & ‘Aillons-Margériaz’ and at less than an hour the Walibi amusement park, covering 35 hectares with 31 attractions.

Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Ort eignet sich für diejenigen, die gerne etwas abseits von Lärm und großen Menschenmengen sein möchten. Für diejenigen, die gerne viel am See sein und zu Fuß dorthin kommen möchten, oder am Angeln interessiert sind, eignet sich die Lage der Unterkunft nicht, da die Unterkunft sich auf dem Berg befindet. Ansonsten gibt es in der Nähe einen Wald, wo man spazieren gehen kann.

Un séjour de rêve

Merci Gisèle et Jim pour l'accueil, tout était parfait comme la première fois. Que dire du temps plus de 30 degrés tous les jours, cette fois ci nous avons profiter pleinement de la terrasse. Que c'est agréable de manger dehors de profiter de l'air pur de la montagne. Nous n'attendrons plus 4 ans pour y revenir. La région est tellement belle, il y a tant de choses à visiter. Nous avons pu profiter des sentiers de randonnée quasiment au pied du logement et nous avons fait de belles rencontres avec la faune sauvage. Le logement est parfait surtout quand il y a des pointes à 40 degrés. Pour ceux qui aiment le calme comme nous je le recommande vivement. Se réveiller au son de la nature ça n'a pas de prix. Superbe maison on s'y sent très bien, très bien équipée. Nous avons adoré l'architecture, la déco. Maison au calme, chaque chambre à une vue différente(vue partielle sur le lac du bourget, des montagnes) Quel plaisir de se lever et contempler la vue. Propriétaires très gentils. Petite maison dans un petit hameau, très grand calme, très propre et tout à l'intérieur est aménagé et décoré avec un goût sûr et discret. On s'y sent très bien. Les propriétaires sont très aimables. Belle base pour aller faire "un peu" de dénivelé à vélo vers le Col du Grand Colombier, ou effectuer le tour du Lac du Bourget par exemple.

Maison très agréable dans un lieu reposant

Le gîte est d’une propreté impeccable et il est bien équipé. Idéal pour une petite famille avec enfant ou bébé (il y a même des équipements de puériculture: baignoire, lit parapluie, chaise haute). Il situé dans un petit hameau très calme, de très belles randonnées sont accessibles sans prendre le véhicule. Nous remercions Jim et Gisèle et recommandons leur gîte.

Au calme dans les montagnes

La maison en elle meme est parfaite avec tous ce qu il faut . ( ne pas oublier de faire les courses) . La situation - si vous voulez du calme et vous reposez c'est l'endroit qu il faut . Il faut bien savoir par contre qu'il y a 20mn de route de montagne depuis Aix les bains et aucun magasin a cote . Pour nous c'etait parfait

Notre sejour fut court mais reposant au possible... Nos hotes sympathiques et discrets. Nous retournerons en ce lieu calme au milieu des bois . Un petit gîte au calme, loin de l'agitation de la ville!

Nous avons passé un super petit weekend, dans ce gîte très cosy. Un petit feu dans le poêle, nous attendait à notre arrivée dans la soirée, ce qui a tout de suite mis une ambiance fort agréable et chaleureuse! La literie est de qualité, tout le monde a apprécié et a bien dormi. De plus, plein de balades dans les environs, avec vu sur le lac du Bourget. C'est un gîte que je conseille sans aucune hésitation!

Logement très agréable !!!!

La cheminée était allumée à notre arrivée. On s'est vraiment senti acceuilli ! Les propriétaires sont très chaleureux et sympathiques. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille malgré le manque de soleil et une pluie incessante !
