La maison est crande, le jardin aussi, il y a des jeux pour les enfants a l'extérieur mais aussi a l'intérieur. Table a langer, pot, tout ce quil faut pour les enfants. "we had an excellent week with Olivier and Nathalie who were friendly and understanding. the gite was the only one on the site and was connected to the hosts main house. we shared a pool with the hosts and were able to have swim every day. the gite was advertised for up to 5 persons but there was only two of us so loads of space. nice big rooms (for 2) and a decent fridge and freezer. great location for exploring Niort and La Rochelle plus the local area"

"Beautiful, spacious villa and lovely, helpful hosts. The location served us well for day trips to gorgeous sandy beaches (20 mins by car) and La Rochelle (35 mins by car). For those days when it is simply too hot to be on the beach all day, you can relax by the private pool and hit the beach late afternoon. Boys loved it and the spacious, mature garden means you can always find a shady spot under the trees. We only stayed for a week and wish it was longer. The only bad but is having to come...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unique property in a stunning location. Christian and Jocelyne were fantastic hosts, attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The house is an innovative, green build and how we should all be building houses these days. The composting toilet was a different experience for us - almost seems strange to flush now! We would love to visit again."

"The house is NOT appropriate for winter rental letting. The main room's only heating system is the old fashionned fire place. The house is not insulated at all. There are gaps around the doors which we tried to block with our sleeping bags; there was no functionning heaters in any of the bedrooms. The first two nights stay the thermometer registered 8 degrees! The manager, Wendy Williams, promptly brought extra wood and elelctrical heaters. Unfortunately, the heaters tripped the electrical...

"There were 12 of us in total for our stay, adults and young children. Emeline managed to find 3 cots, highchairs/booster seats and baby baths for us which really helped with our young children. We had a lovely time at the house Frederick and Emeline were very friendly and helpful, they live on site but they are not intrusive. Although our group was split over 2 different houses the outside table was large enough for us all to eat together. The best thing was the pool area which was fantastic...
