Breakfast was served in a beautiful dinning room with history in every nook and cranny. The bathroom had both a stand alone soaker tub and a shower, with plenty of hot water and good pressure.
Our host Ivo is also the owner and an author and gave excellent recommendations for local dining. We really enjoyed chatting with him and hearing the history of the Chateau.
Saint-Chartier is definitely off the beaten path, but if you are looking for history and really unique experience, I'd highly recommend it. "
