40m2 troglodyte cottage with a 120m2 enclosed courtyard classified 3 ears located on the hillside facing due south the Val de Cher. Living room, Living room, Kitchen, (mini oven, sofa bed for 2 people), sleeping area, 1 160 beds, wood stove, shower room with WC, baby kit: bed, chair and crockery.
Sheets, household linen and toilets provided.
Firewood: 2. 50 per day (approx 6 logs).
Compulsory household package of 40 euros.
Household costs also include the rental of household linen.
A deposit of 200 euros will be required upon arrival.

Staying in a cave

It was fun staying in this apartment. It truly was a cave, but with all the amenities. Enjoyed our stay and out host was very helpful and responsive.

We found the place really nice and great for exploring the area. No wifi was problematic in this day and age but not a deal breaker, The host was good but I would suggest you take things like washing up liquid and toilet cleaner. The setting is great, unusual house great for keeping cool in hot weather. We spent most of our time outside eating which was lovely. It has everything you need.

C'est une cave avec peu de lumière naturelle, pas de ventilation, une forte humidité qui prend à la gorge et rend malade, des remontées d'eau quand il pleut. Ça sent le moisi sous l'évier, seules 2 casseroles en bon état. La vaisselle à laver avant utilisation. Bref, le ménage n'avait pas été fait, le frigo sentait.Quant à l'hote, vociférant, colérique qui fait payer le ménage et exige qu'on le fasse.On ne comprend pas les notes affichées à 10, elles semblent irréelles.

Le propriétaire nous attendait. Il nous a présenté le gîte. Il correspondait à la description. Nous avons beaucoup aimé. Le propriétaire connait très bien la région et les sites a voir. Le gite est agréable, bien aménagé, une tres bonne literie, les extérieurs spacieux, nous n y sommes pas restés assez longtemps pour profiter du barbecue et des transats ..dommage...une prochaine fois. Ce type de gite troglodyte est à voir et il faut en profiter.
