Country Living at its Finest

Log cabin with 1 bedroom & loft; sleeps 4 people. Main bedroom has a queen size bed, loft has 2 single beds, main living area has a queen pull out sleeper couch. One bathroom with walk in shower. Kitchen has refrigerator, electric stove, dishwasher, microwave and coffeemaker. Main living area has a comfortable couch, rocking chair, coffee table, 2 end tables, TV stand with a Roku enabled smart TV ready for your streaming subscriptions. The smart Tv has Basic antenna and Roku channels, a DVD player & DVD collection. Wireless Wi-Fi is available throughout the cabin. The outside amenities include a beautiful deck, lawn furniture, campfire pit (wood provided) and charcoal BBQ (charcoal not provided). This cabin is located in a private wooded setting on the corner of our 28 acre maple syrup farm.

Beautiful Cabin in the woods!

Beautiful cabin on nice quiet property. This was such a nice getaway for us. Perfect place to stay while we rode our motorcycle around Amish country. Our hosts were great and the cabin was perfect.

Cozy Cabin

Cozy Family Cottage

This cute and clean little cabin is a great stay for a small family. The outdoor space is nice, the deck is awesome for evening relaxing, and the small kitchen perfect for prepping small meals. Great experience.

Fly fishing cottage

As pictured, and described. Cozy cottage. Beautiful, private setting. Great porch to enjoy a cup of coffee or staging for next days fishing. Simple and straightforward property and hosts. Look forward to rebooking on a return trip to the Driftless/Viroqua area.

Great stay!

Really enjoyed the remote feel of the cabin while just minutes from down town Virogua. Cabin is beautiful with all the amenities I wanted. Enjoyed the fire pit. Sitting on the deck was very relaxing after a great day of trout fishing.

Fantastic Weekend away

This is a great cabin to spend a long weekend to get away. It is nicely appointed and a cozy place to stay. The porch is great to just sit and enjoy the outdoors. We have been visiting for the last 3 years and plan to return.

Great Stay in the Driftless Area

This was our second stay at Squirrel Ridge Log Cabin and once again we loved it! Great location that allows us to take in a bunch of our favorite Driftless Area/Viroqua activities such as golf, wineries, dining, hiking, kayaking and more. The cabin is beautiful and we always enjoy morning coffee and nights out on the covered porch!

Driftless peace

Came for a quiet getaway and a little trout fishing. This cabin was perfect for that. Secluded but not remote. Easy to get to. I wish that it had been a bit warmer so that we could have used the wonderful porch. However, the interior was very comfortable and clean, so it all worked out nicely.

Great stay

Beautiful wood cabin with all the necessary accoutrements for the two of us. Weather was chilly, but we still spent some time on the covered porch. Hosts were helpful when needed, but also gave us our space. Location was very convenient with Viroqua nearby and we were quite happy with our stay.

A great cabin, located in the heart of the driftless area, close to many of the best trout streams!

Wonderful owners who very friendly and accommodating. The cabin was neat as a pin with everything we needed. It’s rustic enough to meet our esthetics but with all the modern conveniences including Wi-Fi! Recommend highly.

Weekend getaway

We absolutely loved staying in the cabin and were so sad to leave!! Everything we needed was provided and liked how private and secluded the area was. The little downtown area is super cute and enjoyed some drinks at the local bars. Overall this was the perfect getaway from being in the city. We hope to come back in the fall with friends to share the experience!

Beautiful, relaxing, and private

The property is well maintained, clean, and private. The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway. The cabin is spacious, yet very cozy. We loved sitting on the porch and watching the squirrels play in the falling leaves. Lovely view! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again.

Just perfect

The cabin was perfect for our stay. It’s was so clean, had everything we needed for four relaxing days. The porch was perfect for coffee in the morning and reading - even though it was pretty chilly. Nuthin’ a parka couldn’t handle. My husband trout fished in the morning and evening, and we had great meals in Viroqua, which is such a cool city!

Great cabin in the woods

This cabin has everything you need. Cozy yet plenty of room. There were 2 of us but would be great for a family. Surrounded by woods. A little noise from the street but you barely notice it. Had a campfire most nights. Would definitely stay there again definitely stay again peaceful. peaceful.

Convenient Location and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. It's very easy to get to and it's close to so many fun places to hike, eat drink, shop. It's very clean and comfortable. You can hear a little road noise, but it's not bad. We loved watching the birds eat from the suet feeder. We went out at night and enjoyed the porch and hear an owl each night. Check in and out was a breeze and communication with the owners was great. We would stay again.

Great Stay!

Beautiful property within driving distance of anything in the driftless region. Comfortable cabin, relaxing porch, fire ring. It has everything you need. You will hear some road noise including horse/buggy but not too intrusive. Upstairs loft area looks best for children. Highly recommended.

Fly fishing the driftless

We very much enjoyed our trip to the driftless region. The cabin was in a great location. It was very clean and every possible need had been considered. Check in process with simple and the owners were available If we had any additional needs. Cabin has a great porch, and in a beautiful area. Would give it a high recommendation. We look forward to hopefully coming back in the future.

Short but fun

I met two of my college girlfriends in Viroqua for a short reunion. This VRBO was a great find. The cabin-like atmosphere was perfect for us and while we enjoyed toruing around the quaint town of Viroqua, we mostly sat around the cabin and reminisced! The beds were comfy, regulating the temp was easy and the surroundings were quiet and woodsy. We will keep this one on our radar!

Tranquil respite

This cabin was perfect! Very clean and beautiful. It is surrounded by woods but has a very nice clearing around the cabin. The deck is quite large and added the finishing touch. We had a full supply of wood for our campfire. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Anything we needed was right there in the cabin. Such a beautiful place, so relaxing and peaceful. The hosts were so wonderful. I left an item behind and they contacted me to arrange delivery. They went out of their way to help me. I can’t say enough positive things about our whole experience. Thank you so much!!!
