Formidable!!! Nous sommes resté 3 nuits ici et avons été super bien reçu! L’appartement était super agréable et propre et l’environnement aussi avec un grand jardin et une petite piscine ! Excellent Choice for the Bike Island.

Host was very helpful in helping us find things to do in La Digue. House was very spacious and excellent value for the price. Bikes were available on site for a reasonable daily price. Location is right in between the city and the beach. Food is only a 3 minute bike ride away. Internet speed could be better, but there is plenty to keep you busy offline on the island. House is Air conditioned and equipped to help prevent bugs from bothering you while you are sleeping. Geckos also help keep the bugs away.

Overall a nice stay! The apartment was huge and sparkling clean. Our hosts phoned a taxi for us as we arrived in a major storm- much appreciated! The housekeeper was also very sweet and helpful. The location was central to town and to lots of beaches. A light blanket for the bed, beach towels in the unit, and some kitchen basics (tea/coffee/sugar, salt/pepper, oil) would have made our stay just a bit more comfortable. Another suggestion- a info packet in the room (as most accommodation provides) would have been helpful as we didn’t see the hosts at all during our stay. We weren’t informed that there was a fee per day to use the bicycles, and were surprised with a bill at the end of our stay. We understand miscommunication happens, and having in room info would help to easily avoid it. Again, though, pleasant stay!

Amazing property in the middle of La digue

Everything was perfection. This property is situated just in the middle of everything so its really easy to go around La Digue. Breakfast prepared by Fleurance were amazing!!! You guys should try her homemade Jams. We had everything we need in the room. Comfy bed, Silent AC, hot & cold shower... Really happy with our choice.

Une très bonne adresse !

Emplacement un petit peu à l’écart de l’agitation ( toute relative) du centre qui permet de faire ballade de 10 mn à vélo pour sortir. On a l’impression d’avoir loué une maison remarquablement tenue dans un jardin fleuri. Location de vélos dur place , moins cher qu’en «  centre-ville « . Accueil charmant et professionnel de la propriétaire.

Quiet neighbourhood

Everything was nice location was quiet and the pets -the dogs and cat was the highlight of the trip! But the bugs and flies was the major problem I even encountered two cockroaches in the room! One even flew into my suitcase ! OMG but I guess it’s inevitable for the location staying in the green area but I hope the property can do something about it

Fleur und James haben uns sehr offen und freundlich empfangen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück wurde auf der eigenen Terrasse serviert. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir sind sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen worden und man versuchte immer auf unsere Bedürfnisse einzugehen. Wir waren mit unserem Kleinkind unterwegs und daher viel vom Kindersitz für das Rad bis zum Beistellbett einiges an. Ich weiß nicht, wie es bei anderen Buchungen läuft, aber Expedia zählte unseren kleinen Sohn trotz, dass wir ihn angegeben hatten nicht mit in den Frühstückspreis mit ein. Daher mussten wir dieses für ihn vor Ort extra buchen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder herkommen!

Great local Guest house in La Digue

Belle Des Iles is a perfect spot to stay for exploring and enjoying La Digue. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable and the location allowed for easy bicycle trips to the beaches and town. Fleurange is a vibrant and easy going host who was most helpful and personal. Contrary to previous reviews, communicatiionns with Fleurange and Belle Des Iles were easy and timely. A great alternative to tourist oriented hotels and like living as a local.

El alojamiento es totalmente recomendable. Los dueños de la casa fueron muy amables, en especial ella ya que fue quien nos enseñó la casa y nos dio consejos sobre qué hacer en la Isla. Él, por su parte , se ofreció y nos llevó al ferry a las 6:30 de la mañana ya que éste salía a las 7:00. Nos ofrecieron unas bicis de alquiler por 100 rupias el día/bici que estaban muy bien y en muy buen estado. El alojamiento estaba muy bien, la cocina totalmente equipada y el cuarto y el baño muy limpios y bien decorados. Únicamente tener en cuenta que está "alejado" de la playa y el ferry. La playa andando estará a 15 minutos andando, pero en bici estás en 5 minutos. El ferry andando estará a unos 30 minutos andando, en bici a 15.
