The room and facilities, the house and it's ground, the location and the lovely breakfast meant we had a great overnight stay. In a pretty little town which had a number of restaurants to eat in, within easy walking distance."

"Stayed for one night on journey heading South. Clean and comfortable hotel room. Evening meal was very good but with a limited menu, especially for vegetarian friends we were with. Good position with plenty of parking and small garden. Our dog enjoyed the stay as well ! Have also booked for our return journey."

When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. "Overnight stop on the way home. Booked a cheap, basic, no frills accommodation and that is exactly what we got. Tiny room, very thin mattress. The auto’ check in system failed and we had to go away and come back 2 hours later when someone was available to help sort out the issue. "
