"Hôtel Le Louvre is just perfect ! I felt instantly welcome when I arrived thanks to a most friendly and professional receptionist. The hotel itself , is ideally located in the heart of city centre , in a quiet and easily acccessible street, with a private garage . The whole property is immaculate, my room was spotlessly clean and comfortable with great bedding and bathroom. A welcome pack of biscuits , a bottle of water and some nice soap and shampoo were a rather nice touch. The breakfast buffet , prepared by a very friendly team,offered a great selection of food and the coffee was good. I only stayed one night , before boarding my delayed ferry to Ireland but could happily have stayed longer to visit Cherbourg and surroundings . So well done and thank you to the Team...I'll definitely be back."

"Lovely well appointed house exactly as described on the website. Owner responds quickly to communications and is helpful and welcoming. Everything you need is here and we had a wonderful time. My only slight negative comments would be that the 4 single beds are really suitable for children rather than adults and that one of the electric radiators in the living room doesn’t appear to be working which would make the room hard to heat in the the depths of winter if needed. We took blankets, hot water bottles etc and were okay without even in January."
